I noticed on another video (plastic flange I think), you made a pipe narrower by heating it up and forcing it in a smaller hole. Any reason you decided to do it the opposite way here? Seems like it could be more troublesome enlarging the sort-of-reinforced hole. Great video, I've got a perfect use for this.

Yeah, it probably could work both ways, but the 1¼inch PVC is pretty thick, so it's easier to heat up and warp the relativity thin plastic shelving plastic vs. the thick PVC.
