They’re happy because they’re getting paid and never have to do any actual plumbing. 🤣
They also have the run of something like 3 knigdoms i.e. boo, koopa, and toadstool. Have gained the strength to throw castles and if you go by the old animated TV show only do real plumbing in the real world and are basically imortal. Those brothers got it made.
Going by some things, while they're technically plumbers, that's more of a former job unless it's involving whatever maintains the warp pipes.
I'm a little surprised someone didn't try to initiate combat at the end to drown the home owner in the sewage for that.

I'm a plumber. Customers always flush when they aren't supposed too. You somewhat get used to it eventually.
If you have ever wondered why Plumbers have such high hourly rates, this is why.
Is this mostly in homes with many occupants (4 or more? ) or does this happen with just a single person in the home? Kinda curious on how stupidity threads it's way through humanity
Happens too when your in a submarine and everything is cordoned off, someone always seems to not listen or read
Although, the better part is the sewage explodes onto the person who flushed 😅🤣
@@DjbozySTL happens more often if there are more people, at a certain point flushing a toilet is reflexive and remembering what the plumber told you 30 minutes ago isnt
Couldn't you cut off the water and flush the tank dry? Or are you dealing with the "vortex that sucks all the water out of the bowl" kind of flush?
I’ve been a plumber for 26 years. You guys did your homework! Lol. I’ve seen ALL of this!
My personal two favorites:
Kids threw the cooked potatoes in the toilet so they didn't have to eat them. Which of course plugged up the toilet. Had to pull the toilet up to remove the undigested food.
A man moved into a very rural house in the middle of winter. The tub had been leaking and the entire main line to the septic was filled with ice. I couldn't find the septic lids under the 6 inches of snow and had to remove a toilet to gain access. I had a jetter hose and a transfer pump.
Now I work with lasers for a tech company.

Could you turn off the water and then go around flushing all of the toilets to empty them before you started digging the trench?

This would've been better for the electrician version, but applies here. A guy I know is an electrician, and used to take up side work. He went to a job to replace some outlets and when he got there, the homeowner showed him where he'd be working. The house was like something from Hoarders. Boxes upon boxes stacked along every wall. "The outlets are behind those boxes." He replied, "Well, once they're out of my way, I'll come back to do the work. I'm not here to clean up your mess."
I watch videos from James Butler, a guy who owns a septic service company.
He tells fun tales about people who scream about having to pay emergency fees for a Sunday to deal with a septic tank that has been overfull for months, people who have no clue where on their property the tank is, tanks that were installed in the Calvin Coolidge administration and are disintegrating, septic tanks full of diapers the homeowner SWEARS they didn't flush...

Residential plumbers need a LOTO device/sign for toilets.
Having worked in City Sewage Repair for a number of years, that flush really hit home

The $45/hr + benifits makes many things bearable, but sometimes go home laughing like the joker cuz I can't be mad anymore.

You get the disposal going by first turning off the power and then fitting an appropriate hex key in the bottom of the unit and turning it over manually.
I spent several years working at a big box hardware store, including time in the plumbing department. This entire game was one flashback after another.

Plumbers are one of those things many people dont think about until they need them. We had to have some help us with a clogged pipe that nothing over the counter touched. They actually had to return a few days later with stronger tools.. I am very grateful to people that can handle that job as it is very much needed.
Also these ones answered a puzzle that previous ones had not. Why was this pipe clogging? The pipe uses gravity to flow to the septic tank, well a ways before the end is a nice big dip in the pipe where stuff can easily collect and get stuck. fun times..
They moved in 1992 and still unpacking lol 😅😂
Once y'all finish the blue collar work, maybe do some blue collar recreation. It's fall, so it is hunting season. Let's send Sarah into the woods armed...and still holding a grudge?

Any of y’all ever had the pleasure of clearing the main sewer line for a nursing home? 2/10 not the absolute worst call I’ve been on. A couple times it even went smoothly.
always ALWAYS bring a note to tape to each toilet. I do property maintenance and was with my plumber in the basement changing out the ceramic sewer pipe and TWICE tenants flushed their toilets onto his boots.

When working on sewage pipe, you cut off the water supply, flush all toilets dry and drain all the faucets, so nobody can do any surprises to you. Not a plumber, but saw it happen.
If that was the case I would have removed the handle from all the toilets.
These Editions are always fun to watch, your actual play videos are fun to rewatch so of course I'd watch you all play BG3.

I believe that Nintendo has officially retired Mario from the plumbing trade.
Also you don't have to be rich to have a downstairs kitchen, out here we have something called a mother-in-law suit. The house is a 2 story house and the bottom level is a daylight basement. And it has setups for a kitchen down there.
You always tape off fixtures that shouldn't be used. And still expect it might be used.
If you guys are doing the trades, I'd love to see one for butchery. Specifically retail level, though central processing would be hilarious. For extra Florida points, put it in a Publix or Winn-Dixie.
Just caught this episode as I am literally pumping sewage out of a crawl space. Yesterday the same, but was able to find and fix the main sewer break in the ABS

All my pipes need to be replaced and thank god for homeowners insurance that turned it down because they said it would be too expensive, so glad insurance is so useful.

I work for a power company
before we reconnect the power we have a few questions for customers one of which is "is anyone doing electrical work on site at themoment"
the reason being obvious. We dont want to turn on the power when someone is arms deep in electrical wires.
Had more people than i'd like say yes to that question.
