Good stuff! Great video as always Peg! So many great history titles. It becomes hard to choose. Thanks for introducing them to us!

Thanks Peg, I had to get straight onto buying the John Quincy Adams bio and have preordered the Reagan one. Lots of big books to keep busy!

That Henry V book looks awesome as does the Hitler one's, who is fascinated by that period of history? Peg you get sent the most wonderful titles.

So pleased that the algorithm found you, I like your style 👍. Being a recently retired history and geography teacher, I am enjoying your channel. The Romanov book and Dan Jones’ new release look like good reads.

Romanovs sounds interesting, even though we know the ending, the family book about Naples also sounds good.

You are killing my bank account. I now have to buy the JQ Adams book and the Henry V.
Looking forward to the reviews and the book chat.
Anyone Agatha Christie coming down the pike???

As always, you are a high risk for my already gluttonous TBR! I am really interested in the books on John Quincy Adams and Kingmaker.

I'm almost sure that the History Book Club sells this John Quincy biography now.

Love seeing Roxy and daisy. Where’s boomer? I really want to read the Henry V book. A true warrior king. The kingmaker book sounds interesting as well as the John Quincy book. I’m doing the David McCullough book read along. I wish I could get all
    Those free books.

Hi Vickie! Boomer was in another room, resting. He was really sick Sunday-Tuesday. He's doing better now!

I got a question? Is Richard J Evans boring?!

I don't think so, not at all. But reading history necessarily requires a higher degree of tolerance for dry material.

@@TheHistoryShelf Crikey, that is one way of describing things, history that is! I have to admit I tend to find it rather lively. But we all have our thing.

Boomer ate a bunch of potting soil when we were at the baseball game Saturday night. It required a trip to the vet, an anti-nausea shot, and a night of sleep to get him back on track. He's back to his old self now. Thanks for asking, Jonny!
