Intriguing. Never thought of making wine from mixed berries. I did make dandelion wine once, with tangerines and whatever other citrus fruits were still hanging around from the holidays. No fancy equipment, just a stock pot on the dining room table for three days before straining. I would have liked to see your finished product here, and the steps along the way to get there. I guess you have a water-filled airlock, and monitor the frequency of gas bubbles to know when fermentation is ending? Then measure the specific gravity of the finished product...to estimate residual sugar? How do you determine final percentage of alcohol?

Yes I use an airlock and watch the bubble activity. To get your finished ABV you take your starting gravity and your final gravity. I use an app called ABV calculator. You put in your starting and ending and it tells you the ABV. There is a way to do it with math. But math was never my strong suit.

Also now that I have gotten some videos up I’m going to be doing a couple long videos showing start to finish on some of my recipes. I am new to uploading videos and it’s been a learning curve. But I have gotten some great ideas from people who have been watching them.

@CountryBrewster Thanks for the replies. I watch a lot of cooking videos, and viewers want to see someone sampling/reviewing/hopefully enjoying the finished product (or not, if it didn't turn out as hoped). It adds to the experience when flavors, smells, and textures are described during the process. It helps the viewer taste vicariously through the host, and is also kind of a satisfying payoff for time spent engaged with the video. Good luck to you!
