I honestly didn't know these existed, so thanks for introducing me to it. Next time I make mango mead or peach wine I'll have to try it out.👍

Great video brother. Thank you for making it. I was thinking about getting one myself
@@tommyhernandez9425 Happy you enjoyed it. You won’t be disappointed if you do get one.
@@CountryBrewster I'm going to start brewing again in November. Right now it's to hot in northern California. I just started creating my own recipes, so I'll definitely keep considering buying One of these mini kegs. Thanks again my brother.
I would like to see you remake this video, but with beer. Just an idea for the future.
I will be doing a video with beer here shortly but it is still the same process. The only difference is the PSI you set the keg to for pouring.
To get the PSI chart I would visit this website they have a full chart. www.kegoutlet.com/keg-carbonation-chart.html
Thanks man . I look forward to your video.
Can I get the recipe for a 1 gal. Batch? Did u use frozen berries or fresh berries? I am just a beginner. Thank You Tom Doyen Minnesota

Thank you for the detailed instruction. I have recently purchased a growler and was nervous as to how to use it. This was exactly what I was looking for. Much appreciated you sharing.
You’re very welcome I’m happy it helped.
i have one, and it leaked from the beginning. they do not stand behind their products.
Sorry to hear that I haven’t had any problems.
Thanks ! I ordered one a few days ago.
No problem happy to help.
Intriguing. Never thought of making wine from mixed berries. I did make dandelion wine once, with tangerines and whatever other citrus fruits were still hanging around from the holidays. No fancy equipment, just a stock pot on the dining room table for three days before straining. I would have liked to see your finished product here, and the steps along the way to get there. I guess you have a water-filled airlock, and monitor the frequency of gas bubbles to know when fermentation is ending? Then measure the specific gravity of the finished product...to estimate residual sugar? How do you determine final percentage of alcohol?
Yes I use an airlock and watch the bubble activity. To get your finished ABV you take your starting gravity and your final gravity. I use an app called ABV calculator. You put in your starting and ending and it tells you the ABV. There is a way to do it with math. But math was never my strong suit.
Also now that I have gotten some videos up I’m going to be doing a couple long videos showing start to finish on some of my recipes. I am new to uploading videos and it’s been a learning curve. But I have gotten some great ideas from people who have been watching them.
@CountryBrewster Thanks for the replies. I watch a lot of cooking videos, and viewers want to see someone sampling/reviewing/hopefully enjoying the finished product (or not, if it didn't turn out as hoped). It adds to the experience when flavors, smells, and textures are described during the process. It helps the viewer taste vicariously through the host, and is also kind of a satisfying payoff for time spent engaged with the video. Good luck to you!
@@patriciamorgan6545 thank you I will keep that in mind going forward.
Thanks for the videos. I'm new to brewing and looking for all the tips I can get. I'm on day 3 of secondary fermentation on a batch of strawberry wine. Hopefully 🤞I'm doing this right. Your videos definitely help.
So glad they helped. Hopefully your strawberry wine is delicious. Hope to hear all about it.
I can't wait to come and try all of that!
Hi Ruger 😘 that looks pretty yummy
I would like to see the recipes for a 1 gal. batch u see I am just a beginner so please show the recipes for ur hard ciders. Thank You Tom Doyen Minnesota
Sure thing this is a two gallon batch I am doing in this video so you would just do half of what I used to make a gallon. 1 pound of pineapple 1 gallon of apple juice 1/2 jalapeño seeds and all 1/4 teaspoon Yeast nutrient Starting gravity 1.058 6% ABV Lalvin 71B Yeast Hope this helps many thanks.
❤
I've never seen this, it's a method of killing the yeast? I've only ever used potassium sorbet to kill the yeast and raking multiple times. What are the pros of doing it this way and the cons (if any).
In this video I have already done one racking after I’m done with pasteurization I let it sit for about a week. Then I bottle it. Pros is it’s probably faster it’s cheaper than buying potassium sorbet. Cons I guess some might say it’s a little bit more work. I feel like it clears faster but that may just be a matter of preference.
That's pretty cool, like I said I've never seen this method so I might have to give it a try with this next round im making now. Does the whole bottle (I'm my xare carboy) have to be submerged or can only half be in the water? I may need to buy a bigger pot haha.
@@Jonathan12952You want the water to go to the neck of the carboy. I like to put tinfoil over the top to make sure nothing gets inside place a thermometer in through the tinfoil once the liquid inside the carboy reaches 140°. Let’s sit for 20 minutes typically you can turn off the stove at this point. Also make sure you don’t have a lot of head space in the carboy. After 20 min. Remove and let cool to room temp.
Also check out city steading brews that’s were I learned how to do it they have a tone of great information. They’re on UA-cam as well. Also lots of recipes.
So I have a question why take the screw off lid off the bottle and put in a cork?
It’s called an air lock it allows it to off gas while in fermentation.
Save some for me 😅 I have never tasted your wine. I took love strawberry 🍓
Where did you get those glass jugs
Amazon or some apple juice come in the big glass jugs I remove the label and use it for brewing. It’s cheaper lol get juice and a jug for $10 in stead of just a jug for $10
Good info. I did not know frozen strawberries had more juicy Sweetness in them
Got it 😅
What is ABV?
ABV stands for alcohol by volume
I must of missed something. The only one that I saw was the one you demonstrating all the materials you would need to use. Now you have strawberries in a pot I must have missed something
Yes, there is a video before this that is called the beginning of strawberry wine. It’s on my channel.
