Just want to give a shout out to the BSF team. I enjoy the videos and appreciate the help... I was the owner and can't say enough about how i appreciate you guys. Erik and friends did an amazing job taking taking care of us. THANK YOU! I bought it to run it, break it, fix it with upgraded parts an keep going until it stops breaking... i feel like that is all we are all going for so we can enjoy what we do... Thanks!
If you watch Matt's off-road recovery you will see a Bronco they bought one of the crew and they bought a kit to fix the problem on the steering. Maybe you could get some parts from the company they bought it from
A great picture can be had if you pause the video just before you loaded her on the trailer, an old Bronco drove past for a side by side comparison. Thank You for all you folks do! You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
my son is trying to be funny... i was literally cresting a hill at a crawl. there were vehicles stopped at the top. I waited for them to move and when i tried to move, it wouln't turn... could have happened in a mall parking lot. Ford knows this. New Richmond Ford was fantastic... I bought after market upgrades and they installed and covered labor under warranty. BSF and friends were also amazing... huge help in what could have been a terrible situation... they helped a lot and I appreciate the work Erik and team do... "see you in the woods" ( maybe I can get a CV upgrade on the next run)
I love watching you awesome job. And love you're older not no thrills wrecker always get the job done. Love you're new toy ready to see it in the snow. Keep up the great job. Stay safe
Something to be careful about when towing those broncos is that the front bumpers mount to some thin metal and it can bend the front end a little bit if you lift it from a solid aftermarket bumper
I've been impressed by MORR Jefe's Bronco, but not enough to make me an actual fan of the newer ones. Great job getting it around those corner trees without damage.
great video and nice recovery Eric, i know this an issue on all new Broncos, there is a guy with a machine shop who designed a part that is in 2 halves that bolt up along the length of the tie rod and uses 2 socket head bolts on each end and they are machined out of mild steel, i think he said the material was 3/8'' thick on each half and he sold them i think under $200 and this makes them very strong and shouldn't break, 🤣 famous last words , my brothers buddy just retired from the railway and got himself a absolutely loaded Bronco and told me it was upwards of 5700 lbs
I’m guessing that will be fixed under warranty? Great recovery Eric and Mara & friends you all make us viewers want to be out there with you great folks! 👍
Your tow bar, an idea to make the adjusting part easier.. at each adjustment hole drill an 1/8-1/4 inch hole on top of the bar so you dont have to bend over to see where the pin hole is.. if ya wanted to finger it out, ding both of the bars so theres a dimple that the slide bar catches, that would tighten it up a bit though..
I was looking at the new Bronco's but I've heard some bad things about them, tie rods, transmission issues, electrical issues and the 2.3 having turbo issues🤔
Doesn’t seem a necessity for the trails they run, they always seem to be able to get around to a pulling position. Rory on the other hand has switchbacks and cliffs so side winches can be useful from time to time.
One would think the blue oval would have found this durability/reliability issue while testing prior to selling this to the public. Great job getting this out to a trailer. Hopefully Ford will warranty this. Boe
I was VERY surprised to hear that it was your first new bronco on the hook. Great job getting it out without injury, That would have been MUCH harder with a stock front bumper. GREAT to see Mara out and helping a bit.
I am a member of some of these clubs, and the MN 4 wheel drive association. I attend these events just like any other participant, and volunteer recovery service if needed.
Independent front ends have always had problems. Ford is working out the problems. If you look around the Jeep and Toyota vehicles that actually off road, many have had swapped axles and suspension. New Broncos will work out their problems and a lot of them will get solid front axles.
Is it a Bronco or a Bronco Sport? I remember hearing a while ago on a video that while the Bronco is built in America and is better quality, that the Bronco Sport is actually cheaply made in Mexico. Dunno if there's any truth to that.
Folks don’t seem to have gotten the memo, when ford said off road capable they actually meant you can safely back them off the driveway onto your lawn😂😂😂😂
Huh. I've never broken the tie rod on my solid front axle Wrangler. Or any steering components for that matter. #kickinitoldschool #neweraintalwaysbetter
Ford quality is in the garbage these days. They had more Safety Recalls than any other manufacturer in 2022, with 67 recalls. That's 8,636,265 new Fords that had to come in for repairs. Those are the recalls that were NHTSA required and doesn't include the other issues that have slid under the radar. The next highest was Volkwagen at 46 with 1,078,443 vehicles.
i spent two days off road, pulled a semi and trailer up a hill to the event and drug a jeep out of the mud twice ( mostly because he had more courage than me) before I broke that tie rod
I'd like to have one of these new Bronco's, if they came with a 5.0 anyway, so I'll just wait until either Ford starts building them, or they become cheap enough to buy one for a project, btw, that's the ugliest color blue ever created.🤢
Thats a lousy design on fords part, but then again. Those "trucks" are only designed to be pavement princess' .I feel sorry for the younger generation ,crap they have to use .
I’ll bet dollars to donuts if you let your viewers contribute to the girl/ Abby? For clothes/leggings; I guarantee the money will show up Start a patron or start another channel or both

Glad to help

dave in msp... wildtrack sasquatch w/ stock tie rods
I love watching old trucks picking up brand new ones
A great picture can be had if you pause the video just before you loaded her on the trailer, an old Bronco drove past for a side by side comparison.
Thank You for all you folks do!
You are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
The highly advanced bronco automatic tie Rod detachment system. Would love to know exactly what happened in these situations from driver pov.
What I have heard from other the just break nothing real major happen like hitting something hard. A little bump and they break.
Glad it happened while putting through the woods, rather than hitting a pothole on the Highway...Allot of those in Michigan!

Self destructing trip derailing cv shaft
One would think that for what a NEW BRONCO costs, Ford could assemble something that wouldn't easily break!
That's how they get you, You think it FORD TOUGH and find out it's more like Yugo Tough 😂
That engine has one hell of a "Powerful Growl".
I love watching you awesome job. And love you're older not no thrills wrecker always get the job done. Love you're new toy ready to see it in the snow. Keep up the great job. Stay safe

I've been impressed by MORR Jefe's Bronco, but not enough to make me an actual fan of the newer ones. Great job getting it around those corner trees without damage.
Remember he upgraded the tie rod ends before he had a problem.
I agree, but they replaced quite a few parts with aftermarket on his though.
Jefe' just had to install upgraded CV joints as well as the previous tie rod upgrades
It’s so awesome watching that old school truck do that work specially to the newer vehicles (FORDS)😂😂😂
So at the end while new Bronco slides on the trailer. A old style Bronco gos by ...and you can hear that old steel saying....Kids. whatcha gonna do.
I love how an old Bronco drives by at the end.

Hard to steer with a light front end …but I will give it my best shot …. This would also be a great saying for a t shirt
I’m guessing that will be fixed under warranty? Great recovery Eric and Mara & friends you all make us viewers want to be out there with you great folks! 👍
As far as I know it's really hard to find tie rods there on back order
@@darrenboone681 Can't imagine why...
Great video, always an adventure, maybe they will warranty the part, he was just going down a dirt road, and it just broke,
Your tow bar, an idea to make the adjusting part easier.. at each adjustment hole drill an 1/8-1/4 inch hole on top of the bar so you dont have to bend over to see where the pin hole is.. if ya wanted to finger it out, ding both of the bars so theres a dimple that the slide bar catches, that would tighten it up a bit though..

Sounds like just about every modern car unfortunately. Especially the electrical issues
I like the way way these Broncos look. They have good power in them and just need some new steering put into it
Great job sir. You should put a couple of Badland on both sides of the Tow Truck. Just in case you need to pull something sideways.
Doesn’t seem a necessity for the trails they run, they always seem to be able to get around to a pulling position. Rory on the other hand has switchbacks and cliffs so side winches can be useful from time to time.
You would think they would carry the Steck Tie Rod Couplers, for emergencies!
He had thought about ordering some before the trip but ended up deciding not to and very much regretted his descision. Lesson learned
That steering shaft looked a bit peaked but maybe if the shock hadn't broke it may have made it. Nice job getting him out and back to his trailer!!
Another good day in the woods
Eric, looks like the wrecker could use some cutting brakes when the front gets lightened by a heavy rig
Aftermarket high strength tie rods are available..
One would think the blue oval would have found this durability/reliability issue while testing prior to selling this to the public. Great job getting this out to a trailer. Hopefully Ford will warranty this. Boe
Nah They Gave you a Warning With the Oval It's Around the Problem LOL
Awesome job 👍👍👏👏 Eric and crew and seat cover ,
I haven't watched the video yet BUT seeing many recoveries the new Broncos ALWAYS BREAK the tie rod ends if they're stock.
So Wise , Thank You . Another fine recovery. Some times I wonder how many people Actually take there 'off 'road vehcles off road
keep the clips coming
I was VERY surprised to hear that it was your first new bronco on the hook. Great job getting it out without injury, That would have been MUCH harder with a stock front bumper. GREAT to see Mara out and helping a bit.
I actually made the winch mount he had the cross bar hooked under. I had my fingers crossed the whole time because I am a terrible welder 😮
@@user-vz8ni3ph3e You know what they say "practice makes perfect" or at least in welding, better.....
Good job 😊
Sad that the new Broncos aren't very tough. I was told the Bronco sports definitely should not be considered an off-road vehicle.
Did anyone happen to see the older Bronco go by as Eric was loading the new one on trailer.?!😂
What do I have to do to get a sticker. I'm in va I doubt il ever see you on the trail. 😂
Another awesome job
Yep, the factoey tie-rods on the new Bronco's are junk. Through watching the video, it looked like your Driver Side outside dual was low on air.
I think I would be upgrading tie rods,if they have them yet....
❤That was fun 👍😎✊
I was wondering what advantage it is taking it to the stealership. Are they going to install another fragile tie rod?
i bought aftermarket and they replaced both w/ labor covered under warranty
Can you explain how you work these events? Are you contracted by the event or do you do you just hang out at an event waiting for a call?
I am a member of some of these clubs, and the MN 4 wheel drive association. I attend these events just like any other participant, and volunteer recovery service if needed.

Old GMC to the rescue once again,How many beans does it have under the power barn?
Yay! Recoveries! 😃
Gday guys
Sad day GMC towing a Ford😢. Love the vids guys
Lol u mean average day...lmao
This is where Rory is screaming at you eh? Ha haaa
Perfect ending ,as the the bronco gets loaded on the trailer ,a old bronco rolls on by proving old school rules.
15:06 New and busted next to old hotness.
Even the 2 door is a little over 5500 pounds so they're pretty heavy
Built Ford tough? 😮
I’m sure the owner wanted to hear that he was the first on the hook.
Glad you know what your doing, not sure about ford
Is it a Bronco or a Bronco Sport? I remember hearing a while ago on a video that while the Bronco is built in America and is better quality, that the Bronco Sport is actually cheaply made in Mexico.
Dunno if there's any truth to that.
That is a full sized bronco. A bronco sport looks nothing like that.
@@AustinH7 Ah OK. So it is a Bronco issue then. Thanks.
That Bronco must be heavy. Cause hes got very little steering.
IFS vs solid axels. The winner is solid axels.
40th from Wisconsin
of course it was a tie rod... get the broncbusters solution.
I wouldn't spend money on the new broncos with that problem since it will cost you money as soon as u buy it
Ford warrantied the job for him
Doesnt matter the brand! They dont buiild em like they used to!!!
Folks don’t seem to have gotten the memo, when ford said off road capable they actually meant you can safely back them off the driveway onto your lawn😂😂😂😂
There are several four letter words that start with F . all kinda mean the same thing , lol.
When you use tie rods from an old ford ranger what did they expect
Huh. I've never broken the tie rod on my solid front axle Wrangler. Or any steering components for that matter. #kickinitoldschool #neweraintalwaysbetter
not trashing the situation, but this is crazy ford let them out the factory with such a bad weak link.
😄👍👍👍👍👍
Wait till they start having electrical problems.. they'll wish it was the tie rod
Thats a very common problem with the new Bronco's is the tie rod's break poor engineering !
He Would walk a Mile for a Hump .
Found On Road Dead
trail covid 19? lol
Ford should be embarrassed these are breaking everywhere.
Over regulated and overhyped bronco. Great job not ripping the low quality front end off of it.
covid 19?😊

It broke cause it is a ford
The whole truck. It isn't a true off roader
i spent two days off road, pulled a semi and trailer up a hill to the event and drug a jeep out of the mud twice ( mostly because he had more courage than me) before I broke that tie rod

New bronco over priced junk
