Bad news so far. They wipe my team pretty quickly on tier 5. I'm beginning to get upset with the difficulty of this event. Chewbacca may not be worth it. Seriously. I can't put this much work into a team THAT QUALIFIES and just be left with "you wasted all these months on the wrong Toons. "
This is borderline blatant misguiding shillery. You pretend your team is mediocre and gloss over the fact that cad bane is gt11 and dengar and ig88 are both gt12! for anyone who doesn't happen to have them that high, there's little to nothing to be done to get them geared in the time the chewie event is running! Instead of drawing all the attention to the mods like a magician's prestige, pointing out that 4 of 5 toons have GT11 and 12 might be a worthwhile thing to do BEFORE everyone wrecks their toon roster poaching their best pot mods for a strategy that DOESN'T WORK beyond tier 5 with even a 2k less powered team!

I was too I got through 6 star ok. Then I got blasted about 30 in a row on 7 star. Have boba at g12, zam, ig, and dengar at g11, greedo at g9. Zeta on boba and dengar.
I could feel the stress. You looked like how I felt when I finally got Thrawn to 7 stars. I couldn't emulate a lot of emotion bc I was in the library. And I somehow did it with all gear 8, no Zetas, and after countless attempts, I did it all at the last minute
My Thrawn experience was the same: G8 Phoenix and a week of trying, getting him on the last day. Advice: keep your sanity and get your Phoenix team above G8. For this event, I know someone with a full G12 BH team, Bossk lead with two zetas, and he couldn’t do it. Chewie = Thrawn ^ 3

I used the exact same team with the exact same process as you did and I was able to get a six star Chewbacca today, I'm having way more difficulty on tier 7 though. I have Boba at leader with gear 10, Zeta Dengar gear 10, IG-88 gear 10, Greedo gear 9, and Cad Bane at gear 8 with around 400% total potency for the team. This event is so goddamn hard!!!

After months and I mean months of trying to get past L7, getting pissed off and rage quitting I've finally done it! I'm farming Bossk believing he was the key but I managed to do it without him! I would have laughed if I’d been in the mood to but I’ve just spent 7 hours straight with sometimes Boba, sometimes Bossk (both gear 12) leading, with Aurra and Jango (both gear 12) and Dengar (gear 9) and failed to even make a dent. Bossk gets stunned or killed almost right away every time, and I might get 1 or 2 shots before the others all die too. I’ve watched maybe 20 videos, this one included, taken advice from loads of other players, most of whom have got him at 7* with far weaker teams than mine. Nothing is working and I’m ready to give up. What more can I possibly do? Any ideas before I give up completely? I am literally desperate.

Luke Secrest all you need is the zeta on bossks leader ability and have Bossk, Boba and Dengar to gear 11, id say cad and Greedo could stay at gear 10. It’s mainly about the gear and mods for this event

Thanks for the tips! Got my 6* Chewie! Lots of potency mods moved around and the execute on their Chewbacca helped alot. Don't have Dengar up. Have G9 IG, Cad, and Zam, G10 Greedo, and G12 Boba. After 5 brutely failed attempts. Barely got the contract fulfilled then Greedo was only one left with R2 half life, ROLO and Lando at full. Counter attacks and life gain kept him alive to sail to victory. Couldn't have done it with out the screams of Anhalds excitement and advice goin through my head. Grats on the 7* Chewie, hilarious video.
I had unlocked Bossk Tier 11 7* a long time ago and tried the last one from the Chewie event directly and managed it easily Just did Bossk Relic 2 on tier 13 and tried again for fun Wasn't fun at all With Tier 11 bossk, he can withstand twice as much as a Relic 2 bossk Just ridiculous and a waste of resources
I just 7 starred Chewie yesterday. Used pretty much the same exact squad except I used Bossk instead of Cad Bane. I felt a full OT squad of bounty hunters to be the most appropriate for hunting OT Chewie.
I have G12 Boba and Bossk and G9 Dengar and havent been able to beat 7* yet. If you ask me Cad Bane's extra stuns are the real deciding factor. Wish i had him.

Thanks for the tips! Got my 6* Chewie! Lots of potency mods moved around and the execute on their Chewbacca helped alot. Don't have Dengar up. Have G9 IG, Cad, and Zam, G10 Greedo, and G12 Boba. After 5 brutely failed attempts. Barely got the contract fulfilled then Greedo was only one left with R2 half life, ROLO and Lando at full. Counter attacks and life gain kept him alive to sail to victory.
Couldn't have done it with out the screams of Anhalds excitement and advice goin through my head. Grats on the 7* Chewie, hilarious video.

I had unlocked Bossk Tier 11 7* a long time ago and tried the last one from the Chewie event directly and managed it easily
Just did Bossk Relic 2 on tier 13 and tried again for fun
Wasn't fun at all
With Tier 11 bossk, he can withstand twice as much as a Relic 2 bossk

I just 7 starred Chewie yesterday. Used pretty much the same exact squad except I used Bossk instead of Cad Bane. I felt a full OT squad of bounty hunters to be the most appropriate for hunting OT Chewie.

I have G12 Boba and Bossk and G9 Dengar and havent been able to beat 7* yet. If you ask me Cad Bane's extra stuns are the real deciding factor. Wish i had him.
