  • Usal Pav Recipe is a popular delicious spicy Vadodara Style street food that is made with boiled dried white peas in a tangy tomato and tamarind gravy. Make this yummy recipe for your evening snack.
    Ingredients:
    For Dry Usal Masala
    1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
    1 tsp Fennel Seeds
    1 tsp Black Pepper
    7 - 8 Cloves
    1 Cinnamon Stick ( Small )
    1 Star Anis
    1 tsp Sesame Seeds
    1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    ¼ tsp Turmeric
    ½ tsp Dry Ginger Powder
    Salt to taste
    For Paste
    2 Onions
    1 Tomato
    8 - 10 Garlic Cloves
    2 Green Chilli
    1 inch Ginger
    1 Cinnamon Stick ( Small Piece )
    3 Cloves
    For Tari
    1 Tomato
    12 - 15 Garlic Cloves
    1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    ¼ tsp Turmeric
    Salt to taste
    2 tsp Usal Masala
    ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
    3 tbsp Oil
    Make Paste of all the Tari Ingredients
    For Ragda
    1 cup Dried Yellow / White Peas ( Boiled )
    5 tbsp Oil
    Ready Paste
    ½ tsp Turmeric
    1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
    1 tsp Usal Masala
    Salt to taste
    Water ( as per required )
    ¼ cup Coriander Leaves
    For Assembling
    Sev
    Tari
    Spring Onion ( Finely Chopped )
    Lemon Juice
    Ragda
    Onion ( Finely Chopped ) Optional
    Tomato ( Finely Chopped ) Optional
