hey jay! great video as always! straight to the point, genuine, and beautifully produced. you're making me so excited for my summer in Paris! merci beaucoup!
Appreciated your previous advice about Sacre Coeur when we were there in April (appreciate the less crowded view/park from the back, visit the Dome) --a highlight of our trip for sure! And Lord of Barbès looks like a cool spot to visit next time.
I LOVE Montmartre, it's one of my favorite places. I bought a painting there, in 1099, my first trip to Paris. I see it daily and really enjoy that. I'm old, I don't walk up to Montmartre, I take the funicular. The little train is fun if you have time. Hmmm, does that mean I can't have any tacos? 😲
Tacos! And Margaritas! Will have to go try Acá! We eat Mexican food in Paris, because for me it’s comfort food, as I’m Mexican and sometimes need a fix. Gracias Jay!
We went today! We tried Chicken tinga and barbacoa tacos- they were delicious! We had a “cantarito” to drink- also great! Thanks again for the delicious recommendation !
Hi Jay! Thanks for your tips! I was in Paris last month and i wish you had finished the 20 in 20 before. 😂 Also it would be really nice if you could share a little bit more of each arrondissement 😊it feels like it wasn’t enough time. I am thinking of going to either Spain or Italy next year, do you have any suggestions of youtubers that have your same vibe? Thanks for the hard work!
The painter Maurice Utrillo painted pictures of that pink house several times. I think he’s only known because he was painting urban landscapes in that area when other more famous painters were there.
Hey Jay, I Loved the video! Do you know the cover of "Je ne veux pas travailler" that was played ~7:30? I couldn't find it with Dyalla or David Cutter!
I tend to argue for more central to maximize your time, but if you want the vibe, Montmartre makes a lovely stay (just means more time spent commuting)

Cooper deserves a medal for putting up with the rain and cold.
He's a trooper
Love seeing Paris in good and bad weather!❤
It's beautiful pretty much no matter the time or season =D
Really enjoyed this Jay.
Glad to hear it!
100% recommend Jay’s guide. We are 2 for 2 on great places to eat using his guide.
Happy to hear it!
Cooper needs a raincoat. ❤
He has a winter jacket, but we are on the hunt for the raincoat the right size!
I will be taking a visit in just a couple weeks, so excited!
Hope you enjoy it!
Clove is definitely one of my favorite specialty coffee shop in Paris
Jay I love that your doing this in the rain ❤❤❤
Couldn't let it spoil the day!
Jay and his Dad have such fun energy. Such great dance partners to choose from 🕺
So excited about the maps!
I had a lot of fun drawing them all, even if my hands were a bit over it by the end haha
I love this neighborhood too. Thanks Jay!
You bet!
I love the vibe of your videos, please never stop
Merci!
The slander towards La Maison Rose continues and I’m here for it 😂
No idea why people crowd around it for their gram, but here we are
Jay, "la maison rose" was painted by Maurice Utrillo...
So happy to see a new video in the series and that too, on one of my favourite neighbourhoods?! Yasss!
Nice to know you like it too.
Briiillliant editing
Thanks! Paulo is crushing it
I chose to stay in Montmarte after watching this vid. I fell in love with the place. Easily my favourite part of Paris. Thank you.
So happy to hear this!

Thanks Mari!
Great video… I could not believe how crowded the area got !
The 18th gets super crowded in the main corridors, but a little wander off the beaten path and it calms down dramatically =)
Yes Cooper needs a raincoat, not only good for rainy days but chilly summer/fall nights as well.
Thankfully he has a coat for the winter!
The clouds really gave their all when you stepped out on the streets of Montmartre.
P.S. Cooper is a trooper for dealing with that rain.
Merci beaucoup!!!
Big fan here !
Love You!
Will You continue 80 in 8
I loved That!

The interiors of Lord of Barbes is the most Fantasy novel coded place I’ve ever seen.
So much going on

Tacos are for everyone!

Yes! Hope you enjoy Acà!

Fun Fact: While planning a hypothetical vacation intended for Paris (one of many), I liked a hotel in Montmartre and fell in love with the area.
3:14 OMG this is the definition of Pittoresque.

I always toy with the idea of staying in the 18th when I go to Paris, but I have yet to actually do it.
It wouldn't be a mistake

Pink Martini does a cover.
Pink Martini is probably a good one to go for - Dyalla made the song for me so no idea where you'd find it online (if you can)
@@JaySwanson Thank you so much, Jay!! It goes hard!
Do you think staying in montmarte if you are visiting Paris is a good idea? Or someplace more central like Latin Q, and La Marais
I tend to argue for more central to maximize your time, but if you want the vibe, Montmartre makes a lovely stay (just means more time spent commuting)
Those have to be the smallest tacos I've ever seen. Was the plate of four counted as one or was that four tacos?
For €1 a taco, it's a deal - Can just keep ordering and ordering!
Inflation is hitting hard, 1€ a bite.
How is la chapelle these days??
👍🍀♥️🙋
