Probably a bit late mentioning this but something seems wrong. Sam is gaining combat strength whenever Zee or Tom bolsters. But bolster is a top action and your enlist bonuses occur when your neighbours (or yourself) take the equivalent bottom row action. I think in Sam's case he might've enlisted from the Upgrade position, I seem to recall that was what was discussed when he removed the recruit token.
Around 1:32:33 Tom repeats the rule after Sam says he gets combat when Zee bolsters.
What they didn't notice is that the bottom row actions is for all players always in the same order, so once you know it is really easy to spot if you gain an enlist bonus or not.
this was an awesome playthrough, thank you!! watching others learn really helpful in learning the game myself. Nothing better than watching and thinking... "yup, I had that question too."
I like this dual-cam view, but I'd rather not have the box cover and Dice Tower logo, so that we could see at least part of Zee's player board (or maybe just zoom out a little bit more next time).
Very well done. It was good to see the board and the players same time. That's really brilliant. If you do this again, definitely use two cameras.
And seeing the game played was so much better than watching a review to see how good the game is.

Hey guys love the live plays! The reviews are great but it lets your audience get a better feel for the games. Usually if I watch the game and it makes me want to play it its probably a game im going to want to drop the money on. Keep up the good work guys.

41:26 Wrong on the placement of the monument. Anything coming from an encounter goes on the hex where the encounter was.
I really enjoyed the theme of this game I think I'm going to pick it up.
Live play with 7. I know you don't like that, but my group frequently plays games with 6 or 7 and we turn it into an event.
I wish I could find 6 people to play this with that sounds amazing.

I just noticed, all their names are three letters long! Tom, Sam and Zee.
Saxony can place multiple stars on combat AND objectives, not just the combat spots. Also the leader is not exactly like a mech (in some regards it is) Leaders cannot carry troops. Saying a leader is just like a mech to me, seems that it will lead to confusion later.
Also, the way you've broken up the viewing screen is perfect

I am on the edge of buying this game, but I am still not sure if it's worth it for two players. Any advice?
My girlfriend and I play two player all the time and it's really fun, plus it only takes about 45minutes to an hour to play 2p. However, given its current price point and the fact that it is more fun with 3-5 players, I would highly recommend it only if you could also play with other groups, but it wouldn't be a bad purchase by any means.

You can always add the automa as a 3rd player. If you're looking for a great 2 player game that focuses more on combat, try Raptor. It's great fun and very streamlined.

i dont like the dual screen because i can see tom's awful hat. not putting out pools of resources and coins that everyone can reach is insipid.
