As a kid Starburger was THE place everyone went after going swimming for birthday parties etc. I used to tuck in to potato pancakes there, absolutely lovely

I think that was a very fair score. Amazing staff make the food taste better anyway. We can't all afford a £10 burger you know? The average person needs a good quality but affordable burger. And this is the place to go by the looks of it. Thank goodness you went over a 6 because these people put their heart and soul into that burger without a moments thought of profit making. That burger joint looks to be a gem. I'm in Surrey so no personal interest here. I can see why they have been going over 40 years, they haven't forgotten customer service Matt
I was born and grew up in Sudbury, so it's funny to see this on your channel.
There’s a place like this near me, they operate out of a tiny kitchen that’s basically a cupboard next to a pub. Sometimes cheap and cheerful hits differently to the £15 gourmet type places, there’s something about the fried onions and that cheap plastic cheese that unlocks core childhood memories
Lovely people. This is very clearly a different style of burger to the new posh gourmet ones we are seeing, obviously. This looks like a good quality fast food typical meal as opposed to new things.
places like this are missing from our high streets and towns..local friendly go-to places - you can get filling grub and comfy vibes
I was raised in this town and I moved away as soon as I could. Sudbury is an absolutely bizarre town, and everyone there knows it too. Seriously the weirdest place in the UK. There is also the fact that it's stuck in time, nothing has changed for 60+ years.

great review. Food doesn't always have to be premium quality, it runs much deeper than that and I hope there's always a place on the high street for places like this. Warm welcome, affordable price and a satisfying feed. Many boxes ticked! I'd rather this, than a £15 five guys burger served by demoralised staff in a sterile atmosphere. Much love to this place!

We used to have a starburger in our town. That was about 20 years ago now. Amazing to see there's still one out there
For £5.50 you can’t complain at this time of high inflation and cost of living! It’s edible, it didn’t poison anyone! I’d prefer one of those to a Maccy D’s any day!
