Kathleen, I am really loving how pretty this journal is already. That page with the gray floral paper and the eyelet pocket really caught my eye. I love that combination of eyelet lace and the gray and white print. That's just one example of one thing I liked, but I like everything you are doing in this journal. It's a very calm and pleasant journal--like sitting in a porch swing reading a novel--romance, of course. I'm looking forward to the next episode. I was so surprised when you pulled out your gathering thread on the green fabric ruffle! It makes so much sense to do it that way but I never thought of it. The addition of the green recipe page is so pretty. There is a lot to learn here just by watching how you combine digital pieces with old ephemera and found papers.

Where you do you typically buy your sari silk?
I have relaxed watching this video. I have had a headache for a couple weeks and watching videos with beautiful images that also have the softness added in like your layering items is so calming to me. I feel like I am back in an easier period of time.
I have usually bought it on Etsy, but I don’t remember the shop sadly. I know you can just search it there, though. There are a lot of sellers of sari silk. I bought a bunch of plain cream colored and dye it myself, though the silk in this instance was already dyed. I am so sorry for the pain in your head - that stinks Joyce! I am really glad you found this relaxing. Thanks for watching through the pain!
