Thanks for the tour and sunken forest fishing knowledge.Looking to do some fishing at south shore of Tahoe besides Cave Rock.Is it easy to launch from Camp Richardson. I have a Hobie Kayak with wheels that go underneath kayak and is heavy loaded with gear. Will the sand if thick make it hard to pull it to the water? Is it along haul across the beach to the water?Thanks-Chris
Launching at CR isn't tough right now, super close to the water but as soon as possible, the restaurant gates the driveway and charges to park, 10 bucks I think. Then I start launching from other spots, like Kiva, its about 100 yards to the water but dirt, not bad on a cart of any kind.
This might be a dumb question, I have a house in SLT and my wife and I come up several times a year. do I need to get my Hobie inspected every time I want to launch?
What’s amazing I think it’s about a mile deep right off the island. Also fun hike to the teahouse at the top with spectacular views
Awesome location here.
It is.
Appreciate the tour!! I'm envious, as I look out my window and see snow and a frozen lake lol. Beautiful scenery as always YakFisher.
Thanks Jason, its Mark btw. I really appreciate you watching and commenting.
Great video! Can you drop me a link where to buy your exact battery? I need a trolling motor for my Hobie 16 to go about 5 miles if necessary
Here you go...
