I don't like his movies. But man his performance here was absolutely fantastic and haunting with that soft voice of himself playing as a vampire. Also great in Zorro
This movie is a work of art. Absolutely beautiful music and haunting dark movie. This movie needs more then just 62% on Rotten Tomatoes. A way better tragic story then Twilight. I feel so bad for Louie.
Twilight is a movie made mainly for teenager audience, this movie is not. Rotten Tomatoes occasionally gives average scores to great movies, same way they give great score to some so-called good movies that maybe you just don't want to watch twice. If i remember correctly they gave Blood Diamond an average score of only 62% which is same as this one, that movie was one of the greatest films made in the 2000s in my opinion. Don't bother with the score, it all depends on just how a number of film critics PERSONALLY feel about the film after all. This movie is one of the greatest vampire films ever made
And the hair is the cherry on top. Beautiful curly blonde hair on Lestat Luscious and full, brown hair on Louis Jet black, bone straight black hair on Armand
