    Now this is cooked fish!....here in Spain we go once a week to our favourite restaurant and have trout and bacon....fantastic!

    Very nice, i would add lemon grass to the herb mix. Great idea the mustard with the garlic for the dressing and add a bit of zest from the lemon.

    i have eaten trout once and i find it has a very strong fishy taste. is it just me or its normal in trout?

      No not normally having a mild taste like most fresh water fish,( unless they were not fresh)? i smoke mine in a food smoker box.

      I find the right seasoning makes trout one of the tastier fish to eat actually.

      Fishier it is the longer it is been dead.I suggest you get a fresh one from a fisher market find one that smells something similar to a light river or ocean smell( fresh fish always smell faint of where it has been caught). If you can't get a hold of fresh one you'll have to make due with using herbs/lemon to cut down it's strong fishy taste.
