- Man, man, man, man, MAN! This adorable and delightful Scottish lady has the pipes and undulating emotional inflections that mesmerize and captivate. This is an exquisite song, with wonderful drum work, guitars and, yes, violins till your heart's content. It was the biggest song in the U.S. in 1967 -- and rightfully so!
Love this song, Brings tears to my eyes when I think of movie and song.
Finally someone who knows the music and the movie.
This movie helped form the person I am today I was 7 in 67 saw the .movie in believe was 1969. Still remains so meaningful, Sidney P was my first actor crush ! GREAT Movie
GREAT REACTION
I saw the movie. This brigs tears to my eyes.
My degree is in electrical engineering, similar the character the great Sidney Poitier played in the movie (an out-of-work engineer unable to find a job). I graduated in the tech bubble burst in 2002, so never was able to work even 1 day in the field. I tutor math to a variety of students. I have a special connection to this movie because of this.
Me too!! my favorite is " Oh me oh my"
I was very young when this came out. It always got to me. Such a beautiful song. Kinda the same quality as Skeeter Davis' "The End of The World".
@@wileycousins9209 I love that Skeeter Davis song!
Your not alone...I have had a crush on her forever. The best female vocalist ever to my ears!
When you say Irish lit, it’s because she is Scottish with a strong Glasgow accent. When she talks she has that raspy sound xxx
❤️
Love Lulu! Have you ever reacted to her first big hit “Shout”? Think she was like 15 at that time, really raw and just amazing

She was married to Maurice Gibb of the Bee Gees from 1969-1973. They remained friends. Here is a video of them singing together. ua-cam.com/video/9DqYh0fW8qw/v-deo.html
