Imagine if you could see what a Dwyane Wade or Kobe Bryant looked like on a basketball court at nine-years-old. MOUTHPIECESPORTS personality Jillian Jesk was given that opportunity as she spent the day with one of the most prosperous basketball players in Illinois, Jaylin Fleming. See why he has already been offered college scholarships and how college, NBA and some of the top shooting coaches are working with Fleming to stay ahead of the game.

This kid is amazing, he has great handling, he has a shot that he'll fix over the years, he has motivation to play and keep going, he has a personal coach and will get to learn with the pros, and on top of that he's a 9 year old (11 now) and he was making great grades! I look forward to turning on my tv in 10 years and seeing a 'Fleming' jersey matching up to Derrick Rose!

not only is this kid super good at basketball but he is really mature (or just used to talking with adults) for 9 years old. WOW I saw the comments about him being cocky and had to watch the vid over again... he is not cocky at all, if anything I was thinking he was told what to say

All of u stop hating..this kid is legit. I went to a 18U mac irvine fire practice (the best AAU team in the states) and Jaylin Fleming was there. Not only did he practice with them but he clearly outshot everybody during shooting drills. He is surrounded by the right people and will be just fine. But u all should chill out, he is only 9.

All of you haters that sit behind a computer and pounce on every one you can need to get a life!!!!!!!!!! or better yet go practice your shots or whatever it is you do if you do anything besides hate.

Too early to tell if he'll be an NBA prospect. He has to dominate middle school, high school & college level before anyone can say he's an NBA prodigy. Everyone develops at different ages. Hall of famer Hakeem Olajuwon didn't start playing ball until he was in high school, but elected into NBA Hall of Fame. We have to see as he grows, but he's got talent.

Starting at when I was in preschool until 2nd grade I played basketball almost every day I could. I could make a 3 pointer when I was in kindergarten. I shot over 200 shots every day that I did shoot. Then our town took out our community basketball league so I just stopped playing basketball. Now since I never learned the right form I shoot with two hands on the right side of my head. I look strange but I can make a full court shot easy.
