- Ladies and gentlemen, remember the name Damon Harge... We don't normally showcase players younger than high school, but this is going to be an exception... Damon Harge just began the 6th grade at Modesto Christian and as you are about to see he is going to be the TRUTH out there... This past summer after a dominant performance at the Adidas Phenom Camp (including a camp record-setting 50-point game), Damon came away as the #1 ranked 6th grader in the nation... Take a look at the workout this KID is doing already... Insane Handles... Saw it here first....

This kid handles and shoots better then most high schoolers I play against.. he is a crazy talent. Keep working bro you can go all the way.
This kid has great skills and absolute control of the ball, and he looks so calm and collected.
They need to stop doing this to these kids they're going to break them down mentally because they now have to live up to the hype.

Stop "ranking" kids under 8 grade. It is useless for many reasons. Kids egos cannot handle the pressure this early in life. Don't buy into hype young man just keep working hard and ignore the silly "rankings".Parents need to stop all this ranking of young children. The young man has talent. Just let him grow up without this..... Good thing Michael Jordan was ranked as a fifth grader. Oh wait, he was not ranked as a fifth grader..... Everybody needs labels and rankings these days to justify their existence. Please stop. Again, good luck to the young man.

Just because he was a 3-star recruit doesn't mean he isn't incredibly skilled with a work ethic to match. It's unfortunate seeing how great so many of these players were at this age only to be limited in potential by genetics. I truly believe if Harge had grown a bit taller he would have been a much more coveted recruit.
Kentucky has good basketball program, good choice. Good kid, well mannered and comes from a good family
