Why is Sam always the most squirmy during these filmed interviews? Not in the zoom calls. He's perfectly calm in those lmao. Massive introvert/socially anxious person?
Because they’re very rude and horrible. He is criticized for the stupidest reasons, because he is white, because he was nominated for the Critics Choice Awards and Jacob wasn’t (snubbing him was unfair I agree but it’s not Sam’s fault), because they don’t like Lestat so of course he gets all the hate. If you say you don’t like Armand or Claudia, Sam and not Lestat gets all the hate. Twitter it’s a cesspool, it’s so fucking toxic. The truth is that his performance as Lestat is pure perfection so he’s getting more and more attention and the stans of other characters do not like that at all.
it's AI, you can tell looking at Assad's face at 1:40 very clearly. It seems like it was filmed with a wrong setting and they tried to fit it in post production with those filters that make everything look defined and smoother
@liliannadarkflame Though Anne and her son are still listed as "Executive Producers" (marketing) on the show, they were removed from the project after AMC acquired the rights to Interview with the Vampire. I believe, according to Christopher, it was also due to creative differences. Even now, he does not discuss the show.
It was true that at one point, Anne Rice was against fanfiction for a long time and did try to stop it. But in 2016, she changed her mind and said she no longer opposed it, even though she didn’t fully endorse it. Still, she stated that she understood that it was a way for us, her fans, to engage more with her work and she softened to it.
I'm guessing you haven't watched seasons 1 & 2 because the show is incredible. It's the perfect example of race swapping done right, not just casting non-white actors to appeal to a certain audience. They pour their hearts and souls into their performances and have a deep love and understanding of the source material. The actors, writers and show runner all respect Ann's vision and even worked closely with her for the first season before se passed away. I'm a huge fan of TVC and the OG film and this is by far the better adaption. To compare this to The Acolyte is just absurd. This show honors TVC's legacy, while The Acolyte shits on SW's face while demanding fans "just shut up" about it. Sit down with that Lesley Headland comparison, you really don't know what you're talking about
Assad gets so nervous about spoilers, I love it. but like. sir. what devil's minion scene had you avoiding the question so much 👀
"Drugs" 🤣🤣🤣🤣I adore him.

i'm in love with every bit of the show but what was it like on twitter? why is my good sir sam traumatized?

@@wanderingtear8882 sounds very biased and too recent to be season 1 reaction
Why everthing looks like AI
There's a slight delay, and the video quality isn't the best
maybe it was live streamed

This is not AI, you can find better quality footage of the same interview elsewhere. This is just bad video compression.
@@Pleunpleunpleun I know it's no AI, but it looked weitd hahaha.
Where is Louie again ? lol
He’s in tour
@@oxygen553 the world tour

What would Anne do? She would sue someone for writing fanfiction.
she was involved heavily with the show until her sad passing, her son chris was and still is apart of the show.

Could Sam be more beautiful and funny? nope. And Rolin is hilarious.
I have nothing against these actors as artists have to eat too. That said, this "take" on TVC makes Lesley Headland look like Shakespeare.
