It's funny, I'm a 4 through and through. And yet I found myself relating almost as much to Type 8's flirting style. Right up until they said "You're cute." Would never be that forward right away. But I will be playfully mean if I'm comfortable and there's an obvious mutual attraction.

Also, this reminds me of that one date that ended like: "Those nerd facts about languages were very interesting but I didn't rly feel much romantic sparks" That was pretty devastating.
The thing is that I myself am very attracted to/super weak for ppl that make interesting conversations (especially if they make me think about things in a wholly new way) so I'm acting based on that, but ovsly there's no one strategy that works on all people.
My fiance is a type one and I can surly tell you, this is so accurate. He will do little gestures to show he cares. Me being a type 5, i must say that it is very difficult to show affection. But i will go out of my way by giving my fiance information that no one asked for 😅

Late to the party but I'm a 5 married to a 7 and it's easy to see how our opposite types of weird can work with the spontaneous, talkative one and me making sure things don't get too out of hand but enjoying the weird mix of her knowing my comfort zone and, when needed, pushing my comfort zone out with our adventures lol

I’ve been told I’m very direct, but when it comes to romance, all I can do is beat around the bush. It’s honestly pretty frustrating. I have no problem striking up a conversation and planning times to hang out, I just don’t want to make them uncomfortable by pursuing them openly. Weird 9w8 logic, I guess.
