In this Unify tutorial video I show you how to get YOUR OWN plug-ins into Unify so you can start playing with them! A number of you have asked for a video like this so I hope this helps!
I will be doing videos on smaller tasks or a single plug-in in future tutorial videos.

Love this plugin! Two thumbs up! It would be cool if you could do a video on using EZDrummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3 in Unify, as so many of us use one of these, so we can get the most out using the two plugins together.

Great video again! Unify is #1 now on my shopping list, waiting for the ordered 1TB M.2 SSD replacing the 512 in my laptop and reinstalling everything from NI, Arturia, Spectrasonic etc. first.
What about support for external MIDI instruments ? With patch lists just like the current plug-in patches? Would be great to host everything in Unify :-)
Brynjulf Blix external MIDI support is coming, but will be part of a paid feature upgrade.
There should be more aggresive discount for this product in short period of time to involve more audiences in my opinion (I know, I know, in my opinion) :)

I see in the list of libraries you have in Unify you've got, PluginGuru O2 Del Norte and Pluginguru o2 Omnipulse V3. I have these libraries but I logged in to your website to see if they have been Unified but they don't seem to have been, so how can I get them into Unify please? Many Thanks. Dave G.
Those are libraries in the final stages of coming to Unify. My libraries with Multis take a while longer to make sure everything is the way I want them to sound. They'll be here this month (October 2020) for sure!

I still don't know what this is.. cant I just add my own effects to 2 different instruments in my daw anyway? I don't get it .
And You are able to create a polyphonic synth from a monophonic synth as well? Just one example. With Unity it is easy. Yes, You can build up near everything in Your DAW as well, but in Unity this is much, much easier. And You get also a huge bunch of really great presets! You are able to build up quite new instruments, based on your own VST instruments, VST Midi tools, effects, and all the instruments/stuff you get with Unify. Unify is an instrument, with a lot of well-designed presets and a powerful tool to build up new instruments in one package.
Im getting my mind around it too...
Example:
I want to layer 3 string sounds... One from Kontakt, one from Arturia V, and one from Octave Deluxe.
In the open DAW, its totally do-able, however thats quite a number of clicks and such...
Apparently, UNIFY lets all of that layering and the CONTROL of that layering happen inside ONE screen, which I like the idea... I find myself stopping at a certain point because its too many clicks to pull off what I have in mind... like the 3 string layers.
Again, I havent purchased it.

@@keysthomas1966 I hear ya there. I consider myself new to this whole vst midi world and have plenty of spitfire audio and eastwest libraries to explore, and while I'm recently trying to wrap my head around this plugin, I'm liking it and want it. Overwhelming myself this past year lol
I have a lot of plugin guru's libraries for omnisphere and this looks interesting but afer watching some videos I still don't know what it is. If I don't know what it is, I don't know why I would want it .
So I'll pass.
I worked with my software partner Shane to create a plug-in I can continue to make libraries in that is more powerful in many ways than Omnisphere AND is able to be protected. That was my only goal and we have made something over 5,000 customers seem to truly love working with. There are 30+ libraries for Unify and more to come because I can't afford to spend time making killer patches only for them to show up on ebay, sold by someone else 1 week later. The fact it is also a host that let's you do things you can not easily do with your plug-ins already is icing on the cake. I would suggest downloading the demo, instaling it, playing thru a few of the demo patches and then realize there are over 600 patches in Unify before you add any of our libraries. Hey John at 8.28 you go through your sound banks i actually have Trillian as a VST in Unify loaded but the soundbank is not showing how do I get the Sound bank to show in Unify ?
Hi Joey - that is the soundbank of patches for my BassBox library for Trilian. Not the factory patches. If you purchase BassBox it comes with those patches also in Unify format. Cheers!

@@JoeyLove Log into the PlugInGuru website, scroll down and you'll find a Trilian|Unify Bass Box file to download. It has the original patches for Trilian and in another folder, a .guru file for Unify. Drag that file over Unify's main interface and the patches are loaded and can now be played, layered + stacked with ease!

Now What? for example you can uninstall it, then install it again. More advanced users can install another one together with the existing one :)
Can I load more than 16 Kontakt nki extension file instruments?
You can load 24 layers in a single patch (you can change this if you need more per patch) and you can load a single patch (which itself could have 24 layers) into your existing patch which means you can access as many Kontakt instruments as your computer can handle.

Do I add automation from unify or in LPX?
Your choice 😊 In Unify CC Rider is repeating a cycle while in Logic, you are automating things thru your song when desired but it’s not the same…
Hi - I'm confused. Can Unify load plugins in Audio Unit format?
Yes! On the Mac, Unify can load VST/VST3/AU plugins. On the PC it can load VST and VST3 format. Let's say you are using Logic - so you load the Audio Unit version of Unify (Logic can't load VST or VST3 plug-ins, only Audio Unit). You can load and use VST and VST3 plug-ins in Logic because Unify sees all 3 formats and can work with them even though Logic doesn't. Until the interface is redesigned I will not spend money on this plugin. The GUI really, really sucks. I am glad there is a DEMO so I could figure out if it will work, but certainly I cannot read the fark interface. No GUI customization, resizing changes the winwos size (not the fonts), no color selection for Fonts or background, not enough contrast. One of the worst interfaces I've seen.
I've shown this interface few people and asked what they think without telling them what kind of software is this. All agreecd: VERY HARD TO READ!
Yes the concept is great, I love it, but the view is horrible. ! Obviously whoever designed the GUI has no idea how to design usable interfaces. This might work on a low-res laptop, but not on a 4K screen :-(
