The AMG GTR Preorder and Nissan GTR Preorder have been gifted to everyone.
The HW Mustang has had multiple opportunities to be unlocked on both the Forzathon shop and on the Festival Playlist,
This means that these 3 cars are now safe to purchase

Buying pre order cars is ok folks, ignore the fear tactics.. no mod cars are in the game, the focus was the toys r us PO, it didn't make it to game release due to issues at toys r us, the Devs dropped the focus as a unicorn.

The car was already licensed to be a PO edition. So it's the rarest car I guess, an accidental Unicorn. 😁
I actually got one of the codes for the free senna. An Xbox stand was set up at my local GameStop, before FH4 was released, And they were offering discounts on pre-orders if you won a race on the Xbox set up at the stand, however, I already pre-ordered ultimate edition. So they gave me the code instead.

I think banning people for buying cars on the Auction House is unfair. My argument is, if there's a player who knows nothing about PO cars and they see for example "Ford Focus PO" on the search options, they search it and one comes up so they buy it, does that person deserve to be banned? No they don't. The developers should stop releasing search options for cars way before they come out and should remove the Taxi and Bel Air HS searches too.
Back on the OG FM2-3-4 and FH1. I was one of the OG modders that’s hooked kids up. Forza always keeps unobtainable cars stored in the game, it’s been an issue forever. Cars actually have an attached gamer tag to them (this can be altered but usually isn’t). Back in the day, when I sold or used unobtainable cars in the AH I’d alter the car to 0 owners, and No attached GT so the person buying it was the 1st owner. Now, idk if they are doing this on FH4 as I hate Forza these days. But if you do get banned have T10 know you bought it, and check the cars history.
I can confirm the P.O. AMG GT-R is obtainable, it indeed came with my pre-order I did in a local German shop.
If that’s true I’d love to see a screenshot of the vehicle history page. Every single one I’ve ever seen or heard about has the same original owner.

We need an option in the garage to be able to sell cars for at least 50% of their given price. (That way in this instance we can get rid of banned cars)

I know a little bit of what's going in the Auction House, from experience I have learned that PO cars such as the Ford Focus RS PO or Nissan GT-R PO, an account was created and modded for the purpose of containing unreleased PO cars, then that same user sold some cars I'm guessing online (eBay) and later people who bought those cars used the car duplication exploit to duplicate the cars they bought. It's the duplication exploit that's increasing the number of rare cars seen in the auction house. Despite the dupe exploit being used to duplicate cars, It all can be traced back to one account when it comes to the three rarest PO cars in FH4 and that account is The 4F4F46 if I remember correctly. For the Ford capri FE it's RuggedBunny and it's the most common account associated with most Capri FE's being auctioned. If you were to look up RuggedBunny's account you would see that he has 180 gamer score, yet he's an original owner of the Ford Capri FE, I think it's obvious. Coupled that with snipers who caught wind of the dupe exploit situation and you have yourself a massive leak of cars that aren't supposed to be in peoples garage, but I digress. However, there are some legit accounts that are linked to some rare cars like the Ford Capri FE such as DJ Lime and others who may have never thought of performing the dupe exploit since they were awarded the car by being Grand Master or just being lucky enough to be on the Forzathon shop when it glitched out. It's those people who I think either never used the dupe exploit or simply gifted one of their cars to a friend because you won't often or maybe never will snipe a Ford Capri FE with a different original owner other than RuggedBunny. Other accounts I've seen for the Capri FE are Racer X STi and an Asian owner that I can't remember the name of right now, but it's something like YuFi.... and can't remember the rest of the gamer tag. Now.... who should be banned is the big question, I believe they should ban all modded accounts or people who used 3rd party exploitative peripherals such as USB mod menus and people who insist on performing any game exploit whether they be money or car dupe exploits, should get their accounts banned. If you used the auction house to snipe rare unreleased cars, you should not get a ban and should keep the cars that were won legitimately through the auctions regardless of the cars origins. Keep in mind that people legitimately used the auction house, sat there for hours on end and could have wasted their time just the same. Many people who were lucky enough to snipe most or all unreleased cars were using a system the developers themselves implemented in the game and in no way is anyone abusing or breaking Xbox Live's code of conduct when they are not responsible for nor can control what is auctioned off. Those who used the car duplication exploit abused Xbox Live's code of conduct by doing something irregular which resulted in the leak of these cars, but you must have proof and how can they get proof? They get proof by catching those who continuously break Playground Games policies and Xbox Live's terms of service & code of conduct. I don't find it's logical nor rational for Playground Games to ban people for using an in game feature they're responsible for, that's like saying all UA-cam accounts who searched for or watched videos that are in direct violation of UA-cam's terms of fair use and policies will be banned, it's absurd. One thing that I can guarantee is that if they enforce unjustified bans across legit user accounts, there will be backlash and they will loose a large percentage of the community who have remained loyal and supported the Forza brand.

Posting before the end of the video: make special lobbies that can only have these special/banned cars. When you switch to them have the game tell you "Hey this car is problematic and you actually shouldn't have it! If you agree to give it up now we'll give you (insert select rare car here)!" Either that or relegate them specifically to private sessions so they don't interrupt normal online play.
I got a unicorn car in Horizon 1 for winning a photo competition.
When you own all the cars on the list: "Guess I'll get banned." But seriously, I had all the cars before they were released because Forza actually SENT me them through the message center.

I think that it would be right to ban people that exploited the game to obtain the vehicle [3rd party software , some codes changed etc.] but people who obtained the cars by buying the pre-order edition or some thing in the game that developers didnt fix or missed should be fine but have their car removed if it was by bug but ingame.

@@ericship111 I know the Focus for sure. The Bel Air I can't remember but I'm pretty sure that also. A lot of them not the Mustang I would have to check some more of them which I will. I still have 580 plus wheelspins left . lol. My garage is full I'm literraly just throwing some of the cars away so I can use the spins.

I have all these cars except the senna. I can assure you none of them will get u banned except the sennas. Ik multiple game testers that played the game before it ever came out and used all these cars and played every dlc that hasn’t been released yet. I also play w one of these ppl on Xbox almost everyday and I have driven the hw mustang and these cars while playing w him

Managed to get hot wheels mustang a while back when it was still autumn. Did multiple online multiplayer servers with it and still nothing. I don't really wanna push my luck, since I can get banned any day from that, but it's cool to see how there are some cars you can't get bc they're horizon story only

Disclaimer all : You CANNOT get banned for purchasing cars through the auction house. You will only have a chance of getting a ban for either hacking cars in, or a very small chance if getting banned for setting your clock ahead on your console
The austin taxi hs has the option for big offroad tires (like the capri fe) and a V12 swap
You would think that for this Horizon Story vehicles that are "hidden", they would simply apply a tune that passes some sanity checks to ensure that it is only used in the parts of the story they were destined to be used for so those tunes can't escape into the game. In the past, many of the pre-order and unicorn cars (like the Hot Wheels Mustang) are offered in a DLC card pack that is not covered by any edition upgrade usually a year or more after the original release. It wouldn't surprise me to see those appear in the store once Turn 10 and Playground are done releasing DLC and Car Pack content.
As for the ownership of these vehicles and what to do with them, the UUID's of the vehicles should be able to track if the vehicle was new to the owner or if it was obtained through the Auction House. My opinion is to simply remove all of them obtained through modding or other "illicit" means counter to the software license. Those who obtained them through the Auction House get their money refunded, while those who modded for them just get the cars removed. No need to take money from them as it won't effect the overall balance of the game's economy.
Anyway, that's just my $0.02...

I bet this is based off my post yesterday in the Forza FB group claiming I got banned for owning PO cars. I actually didn't get banned! It was just a network error that made it so I couldn't access the auction house function. I hard reset my Xbox and it fixed it. No car obtained in the auction house will actually get you banned.
I mean these cars are cool but I'm not sure how to deal with stuff like this

I’ve only got two of the 6 the Nissan GTR PO & the AMG GTR PO but got them in the auction house so it would be unfair to get banned over this
And the 3 Pre-Orders. The Focus WAS indeed from Toys R’ Us. The other 2 are a mystery. They wouldn’t put them in small shops only, they would only put them in big names stores that are worldwide. This is the only logical answer - Toys R’ Us had a 3 car gift set containing the Focus PO, GT-R PO, and the AMG GTR PO

The HS vehicles can be unlocked for getting 30 stars on their respective stories and cannot get you banned. Or least the Taxi HS certainly cannot. They are different with better upgrades because you worked for them not bought them or got them by luck.

You shouldn't. As long as you used legit credits YOU earned from races you raced and didn't mod your account to get fake credits you'll be fine. I snagged a few PO cars on the AH awhile ago and I'm not banned

I think that all these cars should only be available for single player after completing the game and not get banned but if you make a exploit to get them in multiplayer then you get banned or just make them unavailable in multiplayer

The way people are modding the cars into the game is via the PC version of the game because they both use the same servers so you can mod it in then go back and play on you're Xbox
I have been banned from forza horizon 2 and 3 because of inappropriate designs I uploaded.
As the way this is going, these cars could BE moded, (like fh3 dev builds, go check out Jakexvx) and fitted with different upgrades, but the PO cars are another one of those cases. My point is that why did Turn10 even bother putting the 2 sennas in the game before their release? Or all the other cars, like the HW mustang. People might have got their hands on the Developer's version of the game, and somehow sneaked in the files of the game and sold them on the auction house. Who knows what Turn10 did?? The only thing we know (with a higher possibility) is that game dev COULD have messed around with the game files. (p.s. wow an actual paragraph)

I had the PO focus and kept getting disconnected so I removed it from garage and now I can play online again, the other PO cars I cheated in work fine with no issues

IDK if anyone else remember t10 passing out bans for selling and or gifting unicorns in Forza 3 and 4 and them disappearing totally in 5 they banned not just the seller but the receiver too because it violated the terms of use. Maybe I don't think it's fair to the purchaser or something but it is stated if they violate the ToS they can be banned even a lifetime ban.
