I bought the Travelisimo, which is the exact same model with a different name. My coworker said that the 12v cigarette adapter will burn up your socket in your vehicle. Sure enough when I tried it on a 30 minute trip between jobs, I unplugged it and the adapter was HOT. Like hot enough to burn you. It did warm the food a bit so I would assume it isn't much slower at 12v vs 120v. It works great and I love it but I'm probably never going to use the 12v option.
Very good to know. Thank you for sharing that with us. Might be a good idea if absolutely required to use a 12 volt to maybe do 5 minutes cycles and test out the wire and see if it's getting warm. I would imagine it's a fair amount of electricity flowing through there. Probably just about maxing out what the system can take. Best advice I think. Is he that with the household plug when possible. Thanks again!.
I don want a system where i can warm up at the office without my boss knowing it, because we are not allowed to put time, that is private time, maybe i need one that starts at a particulair time.
Was there a strong food aroma?
Good review, thanks!👍🏿
Just ordered mine today!

@@AuthenticBiker Will this thing work on a 48 volt outlet on a electric bike?
@@satish8299 It is rated for a 12 volt system so I wouldn't think so but I'm no expert in electricity.
does the food smell while heating?

Mine did not smell. Maybe depends on the food.
Have you noticed any difference in heating time between 12v vs. 120v?
I have not used the 12 volt option more than just a quick test. I typically plug it in in my office to heat the food up.
