I notice right away that the skypanel doesn't match the tungsten light at all. It looks unhealthy, flat, with a slight hint of green in it. I'm sure you could dial out the green, but it still came now where to matching the prettiness of the tungsten light. For $6,000+ a unit, I want that thing to be damn good at matching a $1.50 light bulb.

Great videos for those of us that don't habe the chance to experimente increíble new technology, because on set we usualy don't habe the time original te physical space. I'm trying yo find out if it's possible to wirelessly changing the protocol or it's always nessesary to get to the ligth? I'm asking because sometimes the sky panels are on a cherrypeaker or far up on the roof. Well thanks and good work!
Juan Estevez there is many wireles dmx solution on the market. Arri also has its own one. There is also a sc360 version that already has wireless system inside the fixture but compatible only with arri controller. Otherwise there is also a little box (same for every model) that allow you to control your fixture with usb. This is mor for megaboom arm setups
The most reliable connection to the Sky Panel is a hard wire DMX 5 pin XLR connection to a dimmer board. Keep in mind that you will need to allocate three channels per unit for dimming. It is important to note that some modes have up to 18 channels of adjustment. It is important to consider the purchase of the ARRI remote for each unit for these deeper levels of adjustment.
i was at a light workshop by arri and the skypanels are a absolute dream ...

hum, the Yidoblo for 1300 bucks beats this price wise, and gives me the same thing, as usual, arri overpriced led nonsense.
