Toning my hair with boxed colour hair dye by Schwarzkopf to get rid of yellow and orange tones…

- The boxed dye journey continues with toning using permanent hair dye colours in blue and purple. I know it would probably be more effective to go with a professional toner, but I am determined to find a supermarket-ready 'permanent' solution that's accessible to all (and also just too lazy to source developers and toners separately from specialised stores). And to be honest, a lot of the products like Wella toners are difficult to find in pharmacies in Australia.
you can get a bottle of manic panic or arctic fox dye and mix it with conditioner to do the same thing! it will last you a long time since you only need a drop of it in the conditioner. and there's no developer used which is better for your hair
Don’t worry Maggie you will get the perfect color.❤❤❤
Adding conditioner to color or bleach does stop or at least hinder the working process of the developer, so the color/bleach won't really work. That's one of the reasons why you are adviced to use heaps of conditioner after bleaching the hair (to stop the bleach from processing).
Great job. Thank you for sharing it!
You could have done a bleach bath then a toner. I use bleach London toners they're great. You also look great, I feel Marilyn Monroe is a little overrated.... your working the blonde look!
It’s takes more in your ends huni because they are a bit damaged and dry . But just found you and enjoy your videos x
Thanks Rachel, yeah I think I'm going to try the Nordic toner which is blue from Schwarzkopf next time but I also read it dries your hair out too... always difficult
You are so funny ❤
I like it. Yes, the ash tones are prettier on you
Get the X Mondo purple foam
Oh that looks really cool! I'm not sure if it's available in Australia though :(
You’re trying to tone with shades that are darker and deposit too much color. Toners are pale shades that cause less damage.
i am hair dresser and i can tell you ,make dark color its better for you.
color don expire quick its just oxidation but u should mix color first and put more and then add conditioner
Level 9p toner
Why wouldn't you just buy a Toner though? 🤔
I guess it's nice to have options. Interesting idea. Thanks for the video.
Hey @MissKrisLoves, 100% you can opt for a professional grade toner - I have seen a number of good reviews for the Wella ones. Maybe I forgot to mention it at the beginning of the video, this DIY hair journey I embarked on was an attempt to achieve a natural blonde at home simply relying on boxed dyes. Mostly cos I'm lazy and can't be bothered to go beyond my local supermarket to get professional products haha
@@MundaneAdventuresWithMagz I buy mine from my pharmacy or Sally's. Lol I like the DIY concept. 🙂
you dont see orange, I do
Yellow colour was good better than the result
Your crazy your going around and around in circles
Pay a hairdresser and this wouldn't happen
Make more you can throw the excess away ..use toners add up all the costs and tell yourself was it worth not going to see a professional
Take up baking you like mixing things and leave your hair to the professionals
Way too much talking an not enough dying omg
Shut up, way too much commenting, not enough effing off.
