The reason his and Rory's relationship became so strained is because he told her he and Lorelai were gonna be together but then Sherry got pregnant and that fell through. I can’t believe she dumped him for whom like dean is gorgeous in the tux he is a beautiful man and he fit with her parents loved her who gives upon a Ferrari for a Hyundai like Rory common 😢 they completely ruined him I did read somewhere they were supposed to be the end game but because Jared had to film supernatural he left the show that would have been an incredible ending minus the cheating of course

But a lot of people consider 16 an acceptable age for teenagers to become 'pre adults' where they get a lot of privileges and rights that kids 15 years and younger don't.
