Thank you for taking the time and effort to hike these trails so that I can enjoy them while recuperating from a knee injury .the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Your videos will encourage me to go through rehab so I can get out there too! Thank you!
It would be a great fitness hike…really only the 1-2km mark that is challenging (at least to the upper lake), but a long way to go (hence the overnight stay). Much nicer as a day trip if combined with an overnight in Whistler or Pemberton. Lots of other alternatives of course, but few have such a spectacular scenery at the top.
Glad you got to enjoy once again! Nice hike, and other than the steeper part of trail relatively straightforward hence it can be busy! Being there late in the day and evening was nice since few folks around. Was there snow on the trail for your trip?
@@hikenrv There was no snow on the trail when I was there but there was some small patches of snow in the shade. And the trail was super crowded unfortunately when I did it on a Saturday. I also prefer quieter trails :)
There looked like children of that age on the trail, but suspect a 3 year old would need to be packed the 4K in or most it. Children at the campsite looked to be closer to 10.
Thank you for sharing this with me!! As always BE Safe & Be Kind & Be Careful!!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching! 🚐

Appreciate you watching and wishing you a speedy recovery!
What a wonderful spot, wonderful photography as well. Helicopter pad would be for twisted ankles on those rocks lol.
Agreed, such a wonderful spot! Only a week ago and already keen to go back!
Thank you. So gorgeous!!!
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching. 🚐
Awesome!! Bugs looked bearable!
🙏. And yes, bugs were no issue, but suspect later in the morning that may have changed.
Gorgeous scenery! The water is such a beautiful color, but I bet it's cold! Thanks for another great armchair hike!
Glad you enjoyed! And yes, the water was cold!
Fantastic! This is high on my list of places to camp
It is such a great spot….at least another day needed to explore though if you can. Busy all summer, but best to avoid weekends.
This is on my list to do. I’m trying to improve my fitness and this would be great. Just a bit to drive to for me then looking at a few hours to hike.

Going to hike there next week! Will a bear encounter be likely to happen or not?
It is a busy trail and parks folks are usually good at letting people know if a bear an issue.
Would you recommend going there with kids aged 6 and 3
Thanks

What time of year was this? How cold was it at night?
End of June during a local hot spell. Temp at night was warm…at least for the mountains, well above freezing probably 3 or 4 C at worst.
you need a rsv for camping?
Yes, or for a day hike.
What? You didn’t take the helicopter? 😂
One day!
