This line is great for us 40 yr old heads. One of the greatest cartoons ever and I'm glad they are finally doing something with the cartoon as well. As far as Wolverine I know get the most out of molds definitely works for him. Most people our age group were enamored with this wolverine. I would only suggest a third head without the mask would have been nice.
I wish the open hands had the claw openings on them. I also wished they put him a headsculpt with the mask and the little cowl down on the back. I think those would’ve definitely made the figure absolutely perfect besides pinless but I knew that wasn’t going to happen.
Got home from work and mine was sitting on the porch. If they are going to do non plastic packaging then doing something like this works for me. I open my stuff for the most part anyways. Loving this wolverine. The shading is minor to me. Very happy so far!
I think it is the display ability where you can display the box and figure and they both look great wear with the Spiderman like the one guy on UA-cam Spectre who used to work for Mattel another toy company said when he first saw them they looked like the prototype boxes that toy shows would have so that companies can see what it would be like on the shelf before I figure Is actually made.
KP - 100% of my purchases are online - blind. I don't get the pleasure of the hunt. So buying products online, I need channels like yours to determine whether I want to drop my $$$ on it. Good idea on keeping the packages as I believe it is a good concept. Looks like Hasbro did a good job on the animated style but like you that cell shading is an experiment I hope ends with this line. I have a bit of minor bit of grief, his alt. hands have don't have the three shaft's for the claws.
I love it ... I want more Cell Shading like the NECA TURTLES I want them to look right off the screen ... these will be seperate from my Comic figures so I'm all for it
Hasbro really needs to poach Neca’s cel shading team, or at least do a little research on what cel shading is supposed to look like. Mondo’s 1/6 scale Wolverine SDCC exclusive is pretty much perfect and Hasbro just chose not to make it in 1/12. Borderlands cosplay is probably the gold standard of cel shading, people make themselves look like full-size cartoon characters- how is it that Hasbro can be so profoundly inept at these paint apps?
I don't have an issue with these xmen animated series figures having no plastic packaging because of the fact its in a collectors vhs box and it's very nostalgic.. wish it came with plastic on the inside that way you can pull out the figure.. but for all the moc collectors the spiderman packaging sucks.. there's nothing special about the packaging like these vhs style ones and you can't display it on the shelf with the figure showing.. so what's the point of even buying them in that case?

I agree, trade the unclawed hands for an unmasked head with mask hanging on back.
