@@ReaperChi3f yea for sure.. he could sell it at a fair or even to his subscribers unless he is hoarding honey lol. Also he should have cleared the filter screen of wax so it would filter easier. Maybe melt it off in boiling water or a hot plate.
Hi Taras! I have been helping a friend harvesting honey for a wile now. The red thing to take the caps of the honey, you should push it parallel with the frame and just gently take the caps of. For the spinner, you should put the frames in equal weight on opposite sides so this way it doesn’t jump around, and first star at a lower speed on both sides to take the majority of the honey first and after use the higher speed to make sure that the frame is empty of honey. And for the filter, you should use a half sphere like filter, this way the caps will stay on the bottom and you will stil have the sides to let the honey flow. Keep on doing the good work!
Nice looking honey Taras. A tip for you. When you want to spin the opposite direction turn the power off and wait till it stops spinning before switching and turning it on. Switching that motor while it is still spinning is very hard on the motor windings and it will shorten the life of your spinner considerably.
Totally worth the wait! I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your beekeeping videos. I really dig all of what you do, but the bees are my favorite. Thanks for everything and have a great week.
Your honey tastes better/different because most commercial honey's are blended from many different hives in different places, sometimes in completly different countries. They do that to get a more consistant taste. Yours is only from a handful of different hives(or even just one), so it'll show more of the flavor of the local plants. I guess you could try putting one hive far away from another and test if you can taste a difference between the honey of the hives, as an experiment.
VERY Cool Taras. I never knew this was how its done. I imagine big companies that make/sell honey just do it on a bigger scale with bigger machines and more honey cones. :) Looking forward to part 3.
I love your bee keeping videos. It's so satisfying to watch the process. I love honey and wish I could taste it. I wish I had land to bee keep. That would be awesome
I never thought that honey extracting is such an interesting process.I do like all of your videos Taras, but beekeeping videos and with animals are the greatest :-) Thumbs up from me
Extra step to be taken when harvesting from different supers is to separate the batches for their acquired tastes ! (Mark the frames with a sticker) Different hives have different honey taste to them, like how your home smells different to your neighbors ! Very glad it worked out this year for you.
DEAR LORD I WAITED ALL YEAR TO SEE YOU HARVEST! FINALLY
5 GALLONS!!!!!!!!! YOUR BEES ARE GREEDY!! WHAT WILL THE BEES DO WITH ALL THAT HONEY!!! HOW COULD THE BEES EAT ALL THAT?!?
Basically 19 litres of honey.. Holy moly that's enough honey for a lifetime for someone like me who doesn't eat that much!
@@ReaperChi3f yea for sure.. he could sell it at a fair or even to his subscribers unless he is hoarding honey lol. Also he should have cleared the filter screen of wax so it would filter easier. Maybe melt it off in boiling water or a hot plate.
Stan Smith SAME
Stan Smith im still waiting to see him make honey wax pashtet
These videos are so satisfying
Citlaly M. Amen to that

Looks so delicious, btw you should have cleaned the screen between batches so it doesn't clog up like that.
Youre asking too much from him lol... i thought the same.
Or else he could just use something like a spoon to move around those wax.
taras always make lifehacksvideo but deosnt use any lifehacks. oops
Lol u ok? He gave a good suggestion and wasn't asking for anything.

He had the centrifuge completely filled (equal on all sides), it should be weighted down or bolted down.
how do you call that red thing? is that the honey comb?
@@rdizzy1 The two frames opposite each other should have the same amount of honey in each. Some of his frames were only partially filled.

Hi
hope your comment gets seen, that thing looks expensive
Nskyline it’s $800 dollars if you wanna know. He said in his other vid
THIS
Seeing Taras excited about something is always just so wholesome. I've never met the guy, but I want him to always be that happy.
It’s oddly satisfying just watching honey flowing through the filter.
You should do a video where you put honey harvesting gadgets to the test
Jason Pap yes
You gotta bolt that thing down, I thought it was gonna explode 😅
Honestly if he doesn't bolt it down. The legs are probably going to fall off. They already looked like they had started to loosen.
who effing designed the feet on the spinner?
you could do the Mil-24 Hind thing and have a counter rotating part too
Put sand bags around the legs of the machine (:
Or bolt it to a piece of plywood & load the plywood with a bunch of bags. =)
RealRuler2112 Or hammer drill holes in the floor. Then put Tapcons in.
Or increase gravity.
The Bellows - "Simple - change the gravitational constant of the universe." ;-) =)
Or let your wife sit on the machine then listen to her. Profit.
Boom!
Booom
That was far more interesting than I expected.

It takes me a whole year to go through one 8oz honey bear from walmart
VERY Cool Taras. I never knew this was how its done. I imagine big companies that make/sell honey just do it on a bigger scale with bigger machines and more honey cones. :) Looking forward to part 3.
big companies buy honey from people that produce honey
I love the honey videos. It's so satisfying to watch.
Honey sourced from different areas always tastes different. Depending on what type of pollen the bees eat.
I love your bee keeping videos. It's so satisfying to watch the process. I love honey and wish I could taste it. I wish I had land to bee keep. That would be awesome
I’ve never watched honey being harvested like this before but oddly satisfying to watch ☺️👍🏻

Taras should have a Patreon or something so people can fund his bee keeping
I had been loving your videos and I will never get bored from your content❤️❤️

Wow satisfying thing to do great job Taras
"barley have enough honey for myself"....... "hopefully will have 5 gallons"!! A real life winnie the pooh here 😂
I've been waiting all week for this.
use a spiked roller to uncap the honey, works very good.
You use the red device incorrectly you lift the capsules off
he's so clumsy ... even is spinner gonna last him another session and KABOOM
Most people use it that way, in fact most people call it a scratcher for that reason.
I notice he doesn't like constructive criticism. Wouldn't waste your time telling him. He thinks he knows everything
Thank you! Finally someone who I can agree with!
“ this honey is sooo good, I have tasted a lot of honey but this tastes the best” 😂

Notification squad where u at?? 📍❓
because if you buy it somewhere they add stuff in the honey, def. If its like candy. yours is 100% natural nothing added. thats why its so good
“Barely enough for himself”
Mount it to a pallet so it’s easy to move. Get one from a beverage distributor, they are usually blue painted, and are made with much heavier wood.
I like vids like this
