And as for his Bulbasaur he did not stop Bulbasaur evolving that was Bulbasaur choice alone it did not wanna evolve into an Ivysaur it was very very happy being and staying as a a Bulbasaur
You guys really don`t watch the anime do you? The pokemon that Ash doesn`t evolve don`t want to evolve he leaves it up to his pokemon as to whether or not they evolve.
Ash is and always will be the best Pokemon trainer and as for May and her little brother Max those two are way way way way better than Brock and Misty cause Max even helped a Ralts that was burning up due to having a fever 🤒 and all he did was take it to a Pokemon Centre to get nursed back to health and he even made a promise to come back for it when he is old enough to go out on his own Pokemon Journey

I think the "thunder armor" abillity is just a reference to GUTS. But anyway, Ash and pokemon logic is getting improved lately. Now he takes advantage with his pokemon's types and moves and stuff.

My favorite electric type is Zap, who was a mareep's finale evolution in my 2nd Soulsilver play through, with the help of Zap I defeated at he first and only Battle Frontier Brain I have ever beaten. I also really like Joltick and its evolution because it is a bug type that is not super weak. I also like Luxray because it was on my team in my first pokemon game ever. Also, it is cool in Pokemon Conquest.
