Man... so many memories. I literally grew up with this game and the very thought of it reminds me of why i fell in love with the rpg genre and why this game is and always be a treasure in my life.
This game was great, excellent story and plot, amazing characters, and very long 4 discs to be precious.

The artwork is actually amazing. The scenes in each city are so beautiful and really bring a great feel to the game.

I honestly CANNOT get enough of this soundtrack, and this game. The music is flawless, the gameplay is amazing, the storyline is mind-blowing...phenomenal game. Love Legend Of The Dragoon so much, easily my favourite RPG to date. The fighting system was unique with the additions, the story was incredible. I still have my discs and i still play it from time to time. If Sony was to remake it for PS3 it would be incredible.

I got the game like 7 years ego and i played it like 30 times over and over for real =)!
I remember playing this game as a kid during summer vacation in the morning. opening my window letting the light shine in my room with the smell of freshly cut grass entering. while it was hot inside and outside the nice cool breeze coming through the window made it all worth it, and eating cotton candy all while playing this game. so simple, but you'd never be able to tell by how incredible the feeling was.
This is so gorgeous, especially the third piece.

I bought this game when I was around 9-10 years old at a Blockbuster. Little did I know that 8-9 years later (I'm now 18) that I had discovered the greatest RPG....such a masterpiece.

Thank you all TLOD fans we finally got over 100k wievs! I still have the game after buing it about ten years ago and PS1 is also running well. Started a new game couple of days ago and it still kicks ass out of other RPG's i've played. Have a good summer everyone! ^_^

sigh... this game brings back sooo many memories. I still can't believe how this game turned out so good. I just wish other gaming companies of this generation would get it through their thick heads that if a game has a good story, It can be one of the greatest games of all time.
Give us the Dragon Campaign!!! We need that prequel! Or some kind of sequel! Or hell- a Legend of Dragoon remake with updated graphics and some bonus content would be nice! Just more Dragoon please Sony! x'(

+Alex Mercer Remake is something I'm hoping for since it seems to become a brand in gaming industry with also Final Fantasy VII & Resident Evil 2 upcoming. One can only hope = /
Honestly one of the best games ever created. There are so many creative elements that make this game the masterpiece that it is. Not only that, but the graphics are wonderful, especially during cut scenes. This game has made it into my top 5 and that's not an easy thing to do as I'm very very picky when it comes to game. Great soundtrack, great gameplay, memorable character base, and fun challenges throughout. It's sad that it was as underrated as it was in the gamer community.
Legend of the Dragoon will forever be, in my opinion, the greatest game ever released... The story was amazing and the game play and cut-scenes were absolutely brilliant for the technology at the time. The idea behind the game was just amazing. The characters were well-developed, the attacks were awesome and the dragoon form and attacks were fantastic. This is the only game I've played and beat 11 times since it's release. I want an X-Box 360 or PS3 remake, but I don't want it to be ruined.
Great....I've played and beaten the game 20+ times, and hearing the first song again immediately puts me in the mood to play it again :D

This game is the reason why I got a PSX a long time ago, a friend of mine traded me his PS1 for my N64 for a week and he had this game, man its such an awesome experience

same here I was really little though and didn't know how great games like these were. I got it because I saw that it was the demo for walmart where I was at and as soon as I got home fell in freaking love with it. And like you said it is sad that we'd rather waste our time with mind numbing shooters than with this wonderful work of art.
This was a great game. Some of the best musical scores for an RPG ever as well.

Best game. Period. Halo... Call of Duty... Final Fantasy... even World of Warcraft have nothing on this. Just turned it into an eBoot today so I can play it on my PSP. Best game ever, and forever. Brings back so many memories.
This is the first rpg I ever owned. I've played it multiple times and I plan on playing it many more times in the future. This game is truly a masterpiece from the CG cutescenes, battle system, characters and the story. I am sad that the new generation of game developers and designers are pumping out shooters rather than make rpg masterpieces.
Seriously the best RPG to have ever come out. I end up playing this game for a month or two every year, because it truly never gets old.

Final Fantasy 7 and The Legend of Dragoon are the most epic and continue to be the most gratifying games ever.

I remember when I first started playing this game. I had FF7 long before I started playing Legend and had yet to complete it and when I started playing legend I ended up playing it non stop till I beat it. I still love this game despite its age and Ill continue to love it. And just like Albierio said, if they remade it Id definitively buy it again.

This was my favorite game of all time. i think that game designers should look and the story line of this game because this is how its supposed to be made. The best story line ive every seen.

I never played this game, but back about 7 years ago during high school I remember listening to the now defunct game music radio station "Gaming.fm" and always loved the music from this game. Glad to see that it's coming to PSN - if I had a PS3 I'd definitely give it a playthrough.
