    This footage was really beautiful. I can only imagine what it would look like in person. Alaska is truly the most gorgeous and stunning place. So much to see, do, experience.

      Thanks for checking out my channel!!! I hear there is nice hiking in Wrangell. Any suggestions? I don’t get over there much but would make a trip for it. Oh and did you golf while you were there? That’s a blast.

      @@MarissaCollison we lived there only for a few months but had fun exploring what we could! Our kids were super young then so we didn’t do any real hiking back then like we do these days! There are trails though… we enjoyed exploring all the logging roads. And we’re not golfers so we didn’t try that unfortunately!

      @@dereks.epic.adventures Gotcha. Amazing how different Southeast Alaska is then up north! I haven't had the chance to hike up there. Hoping to make it up in September.

    what are the prices?

      @MarissaCollison  3 роки тому +2

      Depends on your flight time. You only pay for the time you are in the air. We landed twice ans spent quite a bit of time on the ground. Our flight took off about 3 pm and landed almost at 6 pm. It was $1500. But you can have up to 3 people and split the cost. When the weather is right, it's a once in a lifetime experience!

    Stop spoiling the experience of solitude backcountry visitors seek and that wildlife requires. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should, just for a few $$$. I’m disabled and cannot visit these wild places. Regardless, I don’t want to intrude.

      I don’t get any money for my channel. I saved up along time to get this experience. My goal is share the beauty of my hometown and state and beyond. To share nature and what it has to offer. Few backpackers can get to this place and no wildlife can survive on the glaciers. It was a magical day for me.

      The helicopter company makes $$$ invading the wilderness. Humans are ruining the Earth with their incessant drive to go everywhere. Wildlife may not live on the glaciers, but the noisy helicopter disturbs them on its way in. Do you know what the carbon footprint of a helicopter ride is? What the airplane that takes the visitor to that area? Do you even care? That and so many other results of climate change (wildfires burning all those forests in Canada and everywhere else, sea level rise drowning native Alaska villages, hurricanes ravaging Florida, floods inundating Libya, Pakistan, Italy, etc.) Who cares as long as there is a buck to be made? Besides, when we make Earth uninhabitable, we can all move to Mars. Stop making UA-cams that encourage the destruction of the Earth. Make UA-cams that educate your viewers about the value of leaving natural areas alone.
