They are the younger sisters of BABYMETAL, born from another world. They are junior high and high school students. The vocalist is 美湖(Miko) and she is 17 years old.
This music video is from their first solo concert, but Kami band (God of the West) played at the festival that preceded it.
Please help us with METAVERSE as well as BABYMETAL.
🔥🦊🤘 From🇯🇵
This is their second official release. The first being Crazy J. It's a different vibe than BabyMetal but well worth checking that song out IMO.
Love her raspy vocals too!
🤘🦊🤘
Yet another emanation of Sakura Gakuin's excellent primordial Soup. It's really worth seeing the recent 'Crazy J' from Metalverse.
There is still a lot of mystery about this unit, but Miko is certainly a great singer.
I am (not) surprised that the young Miko at the front of this group has as strong a presence as her older 'sister' Su. After all, they come from the same city and have similar backgrounds. Something must have gotten into the water over there. 😇 Make sure you check out their first video for 'Crazy J' from a few weeks ago and you'll know what I mean. This song here doesn't grab me straight away, but the other one far more than I would have thought. :)

The singer, Miko. Came from Sakura Gakuin, she is such a great and amazing singer and dancer. Try to watch sakura gakuin Christmas festival from 2019 i believe , miko sings alone on stage and her voice is just amazing. I believe its from 2019. 3 of the other dancers also came from Sakura Gakuin. Yagi miki, kimura sakia and nozaki yume. They where at sakura Gakuin all together.thats where Babymetal was formed as a sub unit. Look for sakura gakuin , it is funny and you can see how they ave grown as artists, singers , actress and much more. They are great.🎉🎉🎉Also crazy j from metalverse is great. And some few more as they dont have many songs yet
The fourth dancer (since you didn't mention her) is Kato Kokona.
Kokona was a Ciao Girl member, another Amuse, Inc. project.
She won the Grand Prix at the Ciao Girl 2020☆Audition out of 5,000 applicants.
A lot of folks think she would have "transferred-in" to Sakura Gakuin if that group hadn't disbanded on August 31st, 2021.
@@rickwagner- its like i said, i really did not know who she was. but thanks for letting me know
My understanding is that Metalverse are the BABYMETAL of their universe who after there was a tear in space were transported to our universe.
I get you on this one - Miko's an awesome singer and a few of MV's songs are pretty good but I don't really "get" this one. Musically it's all over the place and I can't find my footing with it.
Need to check out Crazy J live.
There's another thing for me that they share with BABYMETAL: I usually don't like it when singers throw in these raspy sounding bits. But for some reason it works for me here. BABYMETAL have done that pretty often, making me like things I usually can't stand (like choreographed dancing, for example).
You got it right. They are a sort of spinoff from BABYMETAL. Actually a parallel project from Amuse and Koba.
Yes, they performed "Doki Doki Morning" at BABYMETAL Returns (Makuhari) and "Karate" at BABYMETAL Begins (PIA Arena) with BABYMETAL last year. Then they debuted live at Summer Sonic (backed by the Western Kami Band) but they performed without an actual band here which throws me off.
They released previously the song "Crazy J" which I prefer by far.
I'm still not sure about all this, to be honest.
i like her voice but so far the tunes aren't quite there for me
Their first released song “Crazy J” is imo the far better song. The whole concept gives me idol vibes tbh but from what I remember it’s meant to be a way to find new talent for Amuse, so w/e xd.
Miko is certainly a very good singer, even tho she lacks a bit of power in her voice but she is just 17, so that might change.
Idk why they named the project Metalverse, when it isn’t metal at all.
The whole concept is literally just babymetal and it's a spin off and sister group of it. Outside of appearing for the first time last year in babymetal concert and being one of the guests this year they are their own thing. Also babymetal is literally an idol group, just with a metal gimmick, no different than amuse own perfume an idol group with eletro pop gimmick
Well it was obviously the group that Koba originally ülanned as an alternative for Babymetal. They gad obviously an agreement that Babymetal gad an option to öeave their contract after Babymetals 10 Birthday. Koba obviously expected that they would pull this option. But they didn't they instead wanted a general restructuring of Babymetal and Koba had to come clean. About his little side project.
None of this is true.
@@rickwagner- too late, it's in UA-cam comments now, so this is true 😁
You can speak Japanese very well.
Not yet, but I'm trying! (Thank you!)
