I have one. Still makes me smile every time I drive it.
I’ve owned lots of cars over the years and my M2 has had the most comments out of all my previous cars.
Lost count how many “nice car mate” comments I’ve had over my ownership of this wonderful vehicle.
When you realize that this will be called the Original M2 in the future

No, sorry. BMW imbecile profit-obsessed rich execurives have decided to kill off the rear-wheel drive platform for the next generation of 1 Series and 2 Series. There is already a 2 Series Van with front wheel drive.

Yes the M4 is lighter and bigger and IMO a much better car. I'm fortunate enough to own an e92 2012 M3 and am also fortunate enough to have driven most sports cars and supercars since 2003 + 1 Enzo I can certainly say that the e92 M3 is no wale lol... Yes it's old school now all the new tec has come out but still a worthy beast. Have ether of you ever driven or owned one???

I guess you didn't pay attention very well, they were working on an e46 M3 in the pits. (Also notice the e46 wasn't along side the M2, 1M, and e30 M3 on the track). I think BMW is trying to make a point that this is the true e46 m3 replacement.

+Ricardo Partida You know I had the EXACT same thought! Then I looked at pictures and just saw the DCT, until I saw other pictures and ....whew! I breathed a sigh of relief. BMW knows where it's bread is butter especially here in the US. They will make manual! :) Thank God! I definitely am looking at getting this instead of an M4 or used E92 M3, simply because for price and newer and the HP it's better and....much lighter weight! "Weight is the enemy" when it comes to racing as Steve Matchett would say on on Formula 1 race broadcasts. Looks great.

Very very nice. Glad I did not trade in the E92 M3 for the new M4. I am sure there will be lots of details and test on the M2 over the next few weeks but it looks like BMW got most of it right. A little surprised at some of the negative comments here but that is typical youtube hater land. M mirrors, rotor size...come on guys? Just wait until the tuners get hold of this beast. Looks to be a job well done BMW!
