You have no idea how helpful this is. Thank you! Thank you! I was staring down a more than $1k repair. I live in NW ohio and ours froze just like this. My son helped me move it out and tip it up. Incredibly heavy. I almost gave up on this. I also love that you don’t swear. That’s control and professionalism. I thank you from my whole heart 💕💯
Thank you for showings how to do it with so much detail and patience Doing the same tomorrow job in AM Hope I can succeed as you did, only 6 ports on manifold
Question? (Filter canister) what would you think about using gaskets(maybe rubber) or plumbers putty for the underside ring nut and on topside lip where it sits on and maybe just a small amout of silicone added to it? when I pulled the old one out , it seemed to have either plumbers putty or a gasket. what are the pro's and con's
What is your feeling about having partially submerged swim spa's? We have been considering it. For both Energy Efficiency and privacy. But since we live in a colder climate. I'm beginning to wonder if it might not be better to just have it above ground. Your thoughts?
@@spaguyhowto7417 Bad idea to have it partially submerged? I guess it's my understanding that all the components are above ground. There's just a bottom part that submerged so nothing will be unaccessible. But I'm thinking long-term here. However it's going to put it a bit too high for my parents. Because that's primarily why I'm getting it for for therapy purposes. I guess I'm going to have to do a little bit thinking on this. :/

Now I have to find the video on how to prevent this. If I have to do this again that will be one more hot tub in the landfill
Never turn the tub off including the winter.. That is the only way to prevent it..
