There were worse things that he did that never got reported. It's best that he stays out of public office now
Democrats believe in accountability, and they stand behind it. You have to be especially tough on your own people as an example of equity. Its a damn shame he resigned and id love him back in office too, but it was the right move. Not enough of our elected officials quit when they should is the true problem.
@@robearberbils I dont get the hate for a dude that loves molesting sleeping women. Why are people so hard on democrats?
@@jwatson181 Molesting sleeping women? He hovered his hands over her chest. Bad taste by modern standards? yeah. But molestation??? That’s going too PC.
This man is priceless, screw the DP that treated him so badly, but sat idly by while republicans committed evil.
Al Franken is admired by liberal dimwits, what a revelation!
What evil?
All you gotta do is be charming and the left will hand you the keys to anything.
@@waynedurning8717
Sure, after all the LEFT just let Trump off the hook for the Capital insurrection even though the RIGHT thought Trump needed to be impeached.
Oh, wait, I have it backwards, it's the RIGHT that is constantly in full Hypocrite mode.
@@howardkerr8174 there’s no reasoning with people like you. You will believe what you want to believe. The case was made -Trump was on tape (before it was edited) saying to peacefully protest. The left on the other hand egged on and bailed out of jail looters and vandals over the summer at the “protests”. Who’s the hypocrite?
If _Franken_ were a _Republican,_ he would still be in office and a _GOP_ hero...
He's far above that!
I was about to say the same thing. How sad is it that what he did, and what most of them did as well, and what DT did, there is night and day. It is unbelievable that the other side would stand behind a man who's been caught cheating on his wife, and the number of people who accused him, and none of this bothered the GOP.
@Ker I am aware of that. Still, she resigned.
@Ker
I know. It was ridiculous in today's high standards.
@Ker No. I simply responded to a comment, because there is a double standard. I happened to agree with the comment.
It a simple analysis, and a conclusion.
Please come back. Our country desperately needs you.
What's needed in our adult culture today... adults like Franken.
Amen.... if only we had more people molestating sleeping people.
I miss this man!!!!
Al, I'm still mad at you for giving up your seat so quickly.
Same here. I'm so disappointed
"Al, took One for the team. Basically as a defensive move, I believe. If He'd Stayed Republicans would blather on endlessly,.."what about Al!? When the "me 2s Criticised Trump's actions
He did it because some really bad stuff was going to come out and they promised him they wouldn't release it if he resigned
@@TELEVISIONARCHIVES Hmmmm... Couldn't be any worse than what 45 did or about to find out he did.

Al Franken is a national treasure.
@Sc Parker I agree with you. If Al Franken is a national treasure, we're not setting the bar that high. What a loser!
@@scparker6893 I bet you love the guy that did worse. The guy that bragged about he sexually assaulted women. Who has a lawsuit against him for slander by a woman he possible sexually assaulted.
@@angelicalynn1259 why was it again franken had to leave the Senate?
@@kbran9061 Because of accusations. Did you think trump should have resigned because of his twenty plus? If one side is pushed then shouldn't all?
@@angelicalynn1259 accusations? Wasn't there pictures? btw, not a trump supporter and do not want to see him run for president again.
Miss you Al!!!! ❤. Run again! Come to California, if you need to! We need you!!!!
Great story, luv Al Franken!
Considering what republicans do, the joke photo of Franken posing to grope was miniscule in comparison.
Their faux outrage is disgusting.
A loss to the government when Al resigned.
75 million voters play-act at that same outrage. You're a neighbor to some of them. You're probably RELATED. Worry less about the politicians and more about the dumbasses who elect the politicians, if you want any kind of change
Of course Ted had nothing to say, he didn't get it.
He got it. It’s just that the truth hurts.
He's just an idiot.
Poor Ted. Imagine having to try to make your way through life with zero sense of empathy. Still, a sociopath makes a poor public servant. Please resign.
It’s so good to see Al Franken laugh. He knows how to time and deliver a joke.
We want Al Franken back.
Al should have never given up his seat.
He'll be back. We need him.
@Ker
A correction, K. Kirsten Gillibrand is a Clinton apologist and a corporate Democrat. Like Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Neera Tanden...
We Democrats have a word for those sorts of Democrats. We call them 'Republicans'.
@Ker
Right, K. You just don't get it. She IS a liberal.
HRC went to my high school. We had the same history teacher, a nice enough Paul Bircher named Paul Carlson. I went to our public schools when they were still good, before Republicans embarked on their campaign to undo the legacy of the New Deal and disinvest in our once great public institutions. After public high school, I was an undergraduate at Yale, then did graduate work at Harvard and at NYU. Hillary Clinton is 6 years older than me. As a college freshman, I used to bus her and Bill's table when they were 3L. I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them.
I'm a Trotskyist. When I went to Yale, tuition, room & board was $5000. I voted for HRC because what was the alternative: a sociopathic conman?!?
Tactics, bro -- the lesser of two evils. Incremental change. Be patient, however -- we're comin' for guys like you.
Never....
I agree 👍💯%
God, I miss Al Franken!
Bless you, Sir!
I love Senator Al Franken!
You had me at " I hate Ted Cruz."
Please please come back into politics. Senate, President, whatever. Love to see you debate Trump.
DAVE: Al FRANKEN has my vote!
Still mad that he resigned..he is a treasure, intellectually and politically.
It never gets old, no matter how many times you listen to it!
One of the best senators ever, he would be reelected if he ran.
How come I can only give one thumbs up?
G-D BLESS AL FRANKEN. PLEASE COME BACK, WE LOVE YOU.
"I probably like Ted Cruz more than most of my colleagues like Ted Cruz, and I HATE Ted Cruz!"
Iconic words!
I miss Al. He was one of the bright lights of the Dems.

There aren't enough straight talkers like him, esp. in gov't.

I love Al Franken ..He's right on ..and very funny 😄
We Minnesotans (and the country) wuz robbed of a great Senator when Al was hounded out of office over basically nothing. We miss you, Al.
You typed that with a straight face you bullshitter ??? LOL ... Had he been a Republican you'd be with the rest of the villagers with pitchforks and torches a blazin' ... Not saying what happened was justified no matter the political affiliation, just calling out the blatant hypocrisy. Pffffftttt ....
@@kayakfish9912 Have we met? If not, where in the bloody hell do you get off claiming to know what I would or wouldn’t do under some hypothetical circumstance? Pffft, yourself.
