Hi Toni. This way or that way, tons of emotions. Thank you very much for your honest review. As a long-time Italian motorcycle "user", I fully understand everything you are talking about.

SCS update after about 17,000 km. It happens that the clutch does not separate and thus the motorcycle goes out. It can happen that the motorcycle simply switches off without warning when starting to drive, noticeably often after refueling (refueling = battery completely full and engine warm) and it is not possible to start off without using the clutch lever. In the workshop it is found that a lot is stored in the error memory. However, this cannot be interpreted. Since the error cannot be reproduced during the visit to the workshop and the error memory cannot be interpreted, by definition no error was found, so no guarantee claim can be made, which is why I was charged for the test drive and resetting the error memory...wow… When these errors occur, constant driving jerks appear, as with my DUCATI. This can be fixed by turning the key so the CPU restarts. After that it's fine again.

I was seriously tempted to buy that motorcycle ... thank you for your detailed observations.

@@goran2003 20.000km update, again fail of the rear brake with zero function (is a disaster as you need it having the SCS to park the vehicle), and now additional fail of the front brake (maybe related to the ABS electronic…) and the full electronic suspension is not working, feels like riding a bouncy ball (happy not crashed as it suddenly happened at the end of a fast corner), mean the bike is at the dealer now and the dealer has no idea…

the SCS needs to be serviced every 7,500km - this very important information should be clearly communicated on the website
Is not written in the IFU and the service manual you get with the bike !!!
    Technical Bulletin 001/19
..." We also inform you that the SCS automatic clutch system requires every 7500 km the replacement of
the sleeves (Kit code 8000C6986) present on the clutch housing regardless of the annual service, in
order to always ensure a high quality driving experience.
The SCS clutch system’s setting in provided by a special screw positioned on the clutch push rod and
will be executed at each programmed service, thanks to the use of a tool specifically dedicated to this
purpose (code 8000C6941), so as to ensure at all times the correct operation of the automatic clutch. "...

      Hello Peter
It's not mine ... the video was recorded in a showroom in Zagreb.
As for spending money, I don't know what I would usefully tell you ... I have no personal experience with Augusta, I have heard various negative comments ... but anyway, I buy all my motorcycles with my heart and not my brain :-)
In any case, it would be nice - if you already buy MV - to have a reliable service (and other support) nearby.
      Cheers!
      PS
If you already buy the MV, be "very careful" with the SCS version.

@@goran2003 What exactly do you mean by "very careful"?
I was planning to buy exactly SCS version because of it "automatic clutch" which seems to be very useful in crowded city.

@@piter80257 It was a considerate way of telling you that a certain number of customers were not very enthusiastic about the functioning of that system ... but that doesn't mean anything anyway, experiences are different ...

What's the big deal? We all know Italian bikes never break down! Just kidding. As long as I had a dealer in my area I would buy one. And for long distance touring? I would have the best AAA towing plan available on the planet.

34 inch high seat? Why? Who can ride it? Certainly not me. I want this bike real bad, but no way I could ever tour on it.

ganz ehrlich, wer kauft so was ?
