Get the "Scrap that Settlement!" Mod for debris, it can clear up grass and debris from settlements.

Good design and decorations, it has a very old feel which suits the Minutemen! I like it very much!
Great job! Awesome details. This is something to keep in mind as I build out my various Minuteman settlement. I always generally start with a sort of generic barracks situation with power, a beacon, a water condenser, and some food plots and then come back later to do more redesigning. Preston Garvey keeps me busy! Again, thanks for posting. Truly some great work.

Mods are fan made content. While they can technically be considered DLC, that term usually only applies to content the game developer makes to expand on their game.
Mods are free. Steam briefly experimented with paid mods, but that failed.

Also, I saw the Sanctuary Houses mod on the Xbox mods menu, and when I saw it had your name, I was like "WHAAAT". You're everywhere!
Thanks! I forgot to mention this in the video, but I think they took parts from other houses since I've scrapped a few.

I don't see any reason why they couldn't have just build the walls to look like sanctuary house walls and painted them to match.
This is a very impressive building. Keeps the esthetics of the Sanctuary Hills community and yet has all the hallmarks of a majestic head quarter of the Minutemen like you would expect to find it in Boston during the era when the country was founded. It also has a touch of Southern ranches esthetics about it, but there are buildings in Boston that actually have some of the same architectural elements such as the columns at the front of the building.
Thanks for leaving links to the mods you used, when I get around to actually begin using mods these will be on my list.

This looks absolutely amazing. As you said, it has this colonial/old townhall vibe, but still feels like a part of Sanctuary. If you're a hardcore roleplayer, you can also easily justify the building by saying the minutemen built it from the scraps of the destroyed Sanctuary houses.
I might steal this one for my own Sanctuary settlement :)

Well, you should be happy to know that you are one of the reasons why I switched over from my PS4 to an Xbox 1. You just had to keep rubbing in your amazing builds with external assets. xD

you should build an area for traveling traders like Doc Weathers or Trashcan Carla. Maybe there are some mods for that.

That sounds cool. I usually think of Red Rocket and Abernathy as suburbs of Sanctuary.
There is the Conquest mod that allows you to build settlements everywhere. But building a city that large would just crash your rig no matter how strong. It's not just the spec, it's also how the game handles objects. Maybe in Fallout 5 or 6 we would be able to do so...
Dont forget Tenpennies and outpost Zomonji.
that was a impressive build, looks like a Minutemen Headquarters, like the Whitehouse... but in fallout D: you should add some red carpets in the floor, that should give it a more presidential look. It was a great build :)

Lol, the sanctuary wall pieces from USO are literally just wood walls retextured. Only a doorframe and normal wall, no window pieces, they also don’t snap

I liked it. Still, Preston gets a ceiling fan but the General doesn't? I would have had the General's office upstairs with Preston's or even just created a third floor for the General's office. He's the General, he deserves a big office!

+CordlessVII I saw the Fallout 4 Load Order video you did. I have all of the DLC for Fallout 4, and plan on using many (but not all) of the Settlement Building and Decorations mods you use. I also play Fallout 4 on Xbox One and am at the very beginning, so I will most likely start a brand new game. I have a question. When do you enable your Settlement Building and Decorations mods: Before starting a brand new game, after playing thru the intro and exiting Vault 111 or after unlocking the Workshop in Sanctuary? Also, did you enable all of your SB&D mods at once or did you enable them separately and test each one first?
I enable them in the middle of a playthrough. I have a ton of save files that I can go back and forth between (modded and not) so I don't really worry about starting a fresh game with new mods.

Nice quick build. But all the general offices I was ever in while in the military were on the second floor or higher. They were also quite opulent. Even in places like Iraq, they had really nice offices.

I tried recreating the roof and it turned out like crap. wasn't able to populate the interior wall shelves. it would only snap to the middle outer edge of the shelf. //thank you for taking the time and making this mod. It Does get horrible to put all the interior decorations in...

You know when Preston's sleeping you can use the sandman perk to kill him. You can do this with Marcy, Jun, and anybody else as well

Am I the only one who prefers sending Preston to stay at The Castle? It just seems more fitting for the guy who took charge of the Minutemen before you came along to be at the castle, especially if you consider him second in command.
How did you get all those unique decorations? Contraptions? Or is it another complicated mod that is hard to get?
All your builds give me a New Vegas feel. The people on the West Coast lived in actual buildings, pre or post war, while the Easterners still live in shacks.
Do your settlers go upstairs? I used this mod to build a two-story hostel and they don't go upstairs to their beds.
I alternate my floors in a herring bone format (each square's planks are perpendicular to each other); but that doesn't seem to be a problem on the ground floor.
Would love to hear your thoughts and what happens with your structures.
