Hey jev, I’m somewhat of a new viewer of yours and I gotta say, keep up the good work man, loving the souls born videos. It really is great content. So hyped to see you wreck the dlc
so. i’d say be in between 120-150 for dlc. there’s a bunch of new weapons too so you can check those out. you have to consume the umbilical cords before you fight gherman. there’s a “secret” boss in dlc kinda like cleric beast. also you can use the communion runes to get more money.
Jev make sure you use the 3 umbilical cords before fighting the final boss or else it wont trigger the secret final boss, you can also fight the final boss and beat it but then either use a bold hunters mark to teleport out or just die to the secret final boss, doing that lets you lets you keep the blood echoes (if you teleport out) and also lets you buy the final bosses weapon from the fountain and you can use it while not being forced to go into new game plus
Overleveled is a good question because the DLC contains some of the hardest bosses in the game. Perhaps even in the Fromsoft Soul-genre. 85 would be recommended.
A way to do the main game final boss without going into ng+, consume your umbilical cords, beat the boss, die to the secret boss (rip echos) but now you can still explore first playthrough as game will now only end once secret boss is dead. This is just to do the main game boss before you get over leveled from going through the whole dlc so its not mega easy tho.
Interesting concept that you mention while fighting the amygdala, this game has different versions of body parts and if you hit one enough times it becomes “damaged” and takes extra damage. Thats why one of the amygdala’s legs was taking more damage than the other.
Hey Jev, from someone who squares up to any and all enemies between fires and bosses… You’re right, it’s completely unnecessary, especially when you’re trying to keep with the story/complete the game. 😂👍🏻 Please keep up the fantastic content! Much love for the Fromsoft videos!
Make sure you “use” the umbilical cords. They give insight, and still allow you to fight the final boss even if you’ve used them and they don’t show in your inventory
The recommended level for beating the game and the DLC is between 90-110 i would say. There are many secrets in this game that you have missed one of them is the eye down in the nightmare of mensis where you drop down and do the gesture to contact with the gods. And the other stuff are lore based and the history of yharnim in the dungeons
you need to use the umbilical cords before the final boss, ALSO if you go back to logarius’s throne you can put the crown on and unlock secret area where you get best armor in game
You can beat the final boss of the game without going straight into NG+, you just have to use a bold hunters mark at the correct time. Then you can go into NG+ whenever you want by going through the fog gate again.
Level 70-80 is generally a good range for the dlc. 100+ is when it starts to get easier but I would recommend to stay in the 80s to reap the experience more
Jev just be aware you MUST use the umbellical cords before killing the (last) boss to be able to fight the optional I accidently did it without using it and it just skips to NG

@@smoothinvestigatorif it gives any idea, Orphan of Kos was kinda accepted as the hardest boss in the series before Malenia became a thing, Ludwig and Laurence were up there too
I think that’s where he’s getting that from
@@smoothinvestigator it all comes down to opinion honestly but the Orphan is the only fromsoft boss that forced me to just give up and I went and fought Gehrman
Bruh I first try all the DLC bosses level 100. BB is the easiest souls game, you’re just not that good tbh
@@simongomes7250 I mean I’ve been able to beat every other boss in their games (except Demon’s Souls) but sure
the only ways to really boost your weapon damage substantially at this point is the blood gems which you get from the later chalice dungeons. kind of a grind tbh, but once your main stats are softlocked its the next substantial bonus.
also make sure you eat your umbilical cords!!!!!!!
I killed every enemy / mob I love when a casual souls player tells you nobody would do this lol
so hard to find bingeable youtube series like these lately
i know this comment is a little late, but to make reloading the area a bit easier when farming you can use bold hunters mark. Just to eliminate the run back to the lamp and some loading screens. Worth investing into imo
The fact he beat Logarius on the second go is so infuriating to me. Suffer like the rest of us.
Didn't even parry 😔
to be fair hes very overleveled for that fight. He is like double the level
not to mention he didnt even do the attack where he throws his sword in the ground and the spirit things track him (argueably the most annoying move for the boss to use)
@@dylancarr2458 I was pissed about daughter of the cosmos, that bitch killed me a thousand times
@@dylancarr2458that move is actually insane if you do cainhurst at a lower level. him pressuring and you having to dodge both of the attacks at once is so insane
I'm addicted to this
I’ll do one burpee for every like this gets
I honestly can’t wait to see Jev play ds3 and his reaction to some of the bosses especially gael😮💨
To add on to the fire Jev make sure you use the umbilical cords. They are usable items like madman knowledge and they will not do anything by just sitting in the inventory. I know it's kinda weird but that's soulsborne for you lol hope you enjoy the final final boss!
120-150 is wayyy to much. Jevs 80 levels are already more than enough
I have not seen any bloodborne but I am grateful that jev has been playing the game because I've been thoroughly enjoying watching all the videos
Another day another W video. so glad this became a series. Now it just needs to come to PC so i can replay it
thankful this game series is almost over !
75-85 is a good level for DLC on NG, you should also do the chalice dungeons, they have unique bosses and areas.
Overleveled is a good question because the DLC contains some of the hardest bosses in the game. Perhaps even in the Fromsoft Soul-genre.
85 would be recommended.
Can’t wait for Jev to charge R2 orphan of Kos 😎👍🏻
Can’t wait for the chalice dungeon runs with blood letting beast!
Thats why one of the amygdala’s legs was taking more damage than the other.
anything past lvl 50 for the dlc on base game is a breeze
The fact that Jev has basically face tanked the big bosses is actually incredible
I hope jev fights the optional bosses inside the chalice dungeons as well before ng+ otherwise there'll be a good chunk he'll miss
Use the umbilical cords first !!! You have to use them for the ending !
I would love you to fight the nameless King ds3!!!
I kill all enemies on my way to the boss on my first time trying to find it. Once I find the boss I'll run from everything on my way to fighting it.
Jev, go back to the lamp where you killed martyr and put on the crown of illusions. It reveals a cool little area with an npc. Its pretty sweet
