The failed children that didn't get the power of immortality
using the divine abduction on the monk dude just sends him to the place where you killed those monkeys he chills there for the rest of the game and gives you something when you go there and talk to him. IT DOES NOT KILL HIM.
You should also fight the OWL where you fight Lady Butterfly, hardest boss in game for me
Honestly there's no way he will do that quest unless he goes out of his way to look it up

O’rin of the Water is 100% my favorite mini boss. Such a fun fight for me personally
Orin is easily the best mini boss in the game, and honestly could challenge Seven Spears for the title of hardest, imo
Totally unique encounter that isn't used again, and is visually awesome
So true. Whenever I do a new game plus, I never skip her. She has such a great move set that's so satisfying to deflect.
She beat my ass repeatedly and made me realize I'd been fucking my parries up throughout the whole game.
You can make the Guardian Ape fights way easier using the Spear prosthetic, by the way. When you deflect the big overhead and it knocked them over, you can pull out the centipede using the spear for huge damage. O'rin can also be made way easier using the poison Sabiru, despite being a ghost.
I love this series. Thank you Jev. I recommend the secret ending of you can do that, the shura ending cuts out half of the story so I wouldn’t recommend that.

For the shura ending i think its best you backup a save, get the ending and then load the save and play through the rest of the game. youre gonna miss alot of stuff if you just go for shura like owl, the boss before fountainhead, fountainhead itself… having a save is just better
Dude didn’t listen for 5 seconds after he said he’s during shura. He has another play through at the end of the true ending buddy. He’s seen what’s past shura

Jev has one attempt'd nearly every single boss. Having so much more souls games under his belt is helping immensely.
He's also beaten pretty much everything in the game before. Once that muscle memory comes back, Sekiro isn't nearly as difficult as that first, fresh playthrough
I don’t think it’s the other souls games that are helping I think it’s just Sekiro, the first playthrough of his Sekiro helps a lot more with your second playthrough than playing the other souls games
like I knew he was pretty good but that mist noble kill was crazy
he played it 2 years ago and when he played it back then, he likely died alot so the musle memory is still with him, the game is extremely easy on a 2nd playthrough
There are also the gauntlets you unlock depending on which endings you do, the gauntlets are "tournaments" that have rewards. The gauntlet you get from the shura ending gives you the Shura outfit to change into.
Dude, obviously the people aren't gonna be satisfied with the shura ending and want you to do the true ending but its your choice to continue after or not

Fun Fact: You can parry the Snake Eyes grab attack that comes from behind you. The timing is a little odd, but it's more rewarding.
Timing is when the grab connects, not when it's over your shoulder. Took me a long time to figure this out😅
Jev, make sure to make use of the ceremonial tanto. It gives you extra spirit emblems for the cost of some health. It works pretty much the same as blood bullets in Bloodborne does. More spirit emblems = more mortal blade uses in a fight.
To get all of the secret boss varients (you get them in new game plus) you have to fight all of the bosses(from shrua and good play thru) in the same game file, so honesty try and just finish both endings on one file if you wanna save time unlocking the secret boss varients

Confetti DOES give you a little boost of damage
Usually, 25% and the opportunity to do chip damage, which in some cases (lady butterfly for example) can get very useful, far as I know it gets to 37% on monk apparition, and 32% on normal apparitions and headless, so yes... Confetti does give you a little boost of damage, but unless you're on a reflection or struggling hard, I don't think is worth using it on normal bosses

Jev, if you do the shura ending on this save and the normal ending on your other save, then you will probably miss out on a couple of bosses. Mainly the father version of owl. There’s a short side quest that you have to do in order to unlock the boss. This side quest is NOT available on the shura route AND it’s missable on the normal
route if you go to far in the game without starting it.
Also
Shura: Bad ending (shortest game route)
Immortal Severance: Normal ending (normal route like your last playthrough)
Purification: Good ending (do a side quest to unlock)
Return: The best ending/potential true ending: You have to do a pretty long quest line.
The quest line to fight the father version of Owl is also the same quest that unlocks the purification ending. Figured that I add that since you mainly want to fight all the bosses.

Yo Jev you are kicking ass at the game. I would definitely recommend doing multiple endings because there are boss gauntlets that you unlock from them
Fun fact with guardian ape use the spear and when he goes the big slash down deflect it then use the spear.

The shura ending gives you the coolest combat art, not the strongest but def the coolest looking.
Re-watching the series reminds me how much I love this game.
There is quite a bit of content including really sick bosses between where the shura ending ends and the final 2 bosses of the normal endings.
Don’t know if you’ll read this, but when fighting either of the guardian apes. When he does the attack with the head that gives you terror, run straight behind him. The hitbox of it is mainly in front of him so just run like 10 feet behind him and it won’t hit you
You can deflect the snake eyes grab attack if you block as she pulls back her weapon
Divine confetti I believe increases your damage against everything, but it's more effective against apparition type enemies.
Hey Jev when they are using a sweep attack with the red mark on your head jump on them it will break there posture pretty well

Jev, during sweep attacks with the red indicator above them, if you double jump on their head it does massive posture damage
Whenever you parry the guardian apes large attacks and it falls over you can use the prosthetic spears cleave attack to pull the centipede out of its head and deal a TON of posture damage

You should make a separate save file for right before you actually make the Shura ending decision. This way you can do another ending with the rest of the bosses you would normally miss out by doing the Shura ending.
Great Series Jev always look forward to a new video from you everyday. I would recommend doing the true ending or the good ending first because it take a lot more time to do then go to new game or start a new play through and speed to the shura ending otherwise you will miss some bosses that I think people want to see you crush. Keep up the great content Jev!

FYI ,, in Normal/Good/Best endings , you fight : Owl (current day), Divine Dragon, Demon of Hatred and Glock Ishin. You visit several new locations.
In Shura Ending , you fight : EMMA, ISHIN the Old Man, Father Owl in the past
So yeah..,, less contents in Shura ending.
I fought O’rin of the water at a lower level and was stuck on her for like 2 days. She legit taught me the game and how to parry and parry well. Cuz if u messed up and blocked regularly it was over. Favorite boss in the game.
I love seeing Jev genuinely improving at this game and having fun, sure its nice to see him rage but i like to see him have a good time more than rage😊

what you can do, is make a backup save before you meet owl and do the shura ending, then once youve finished it you can go back to the save and do the true ending so you can keep all the stuff you have in this playthrough :)
Confetti makes it where you do slightly more damage but it's main use is undead guys

Also you should a playthrough of resurrection mod. Changes the bosses move set and adds a bunch of mini bosses. Really good mod

Certain endings you have to have some previous stuff done so if you haven’t talked to NPC’s and such on the original playthrough you will probably be limited to one of the other endings, and not the true ending
Jev if you do the shura ending you miss out on an alternative owl the father boss fight which is top 3 hardest boss fights along with isshin and demon of hatred and I’m not too sure if you will be able to fight owl the father in your other save since your literally at the end of the game and you only get to fight him when you collect stuff to get a different ending

you can always just back your save to the cloud before you do the shura ending then complete the game any ending you want then reload the save and continue it the other way you didn’t choose which i recommend, if you do shura you’ll miss out on the most fun fights in the game that will bring a challenge

the funny thing about the terror beam is that you can deflect the initial hit and then run through it without further terror build up, which seems crazy lol, but you know, videogame logic
edit: also the fight against o'rin of the water and the corrupted monk fights are some of my favorite in the game. it makes it feel like a dance against the bosses as opposed to a strict sword fight

I don’t think I’ve raged more at an enemy than those cannon guys. They shoot you exactly as you strike it seems.
