- Ahhhh, it's finally here! I was so lucky to beta read this book back when it was affectionately titled This Book is For October and now it is PUBLISHED!!! A DARK AND SECRET MAGIC is out now, wherever you get your books. :) This vlog is all about traveling to NYC to celebrate Wallis, her incredible accomplishment, and this absolute gem of a cozy read. Cannot recommend ADASM enough. Reading vlog to come! :)

I loved A Dark and Secret Magic!! It's such a fun and atmospheric read. I got early access through net galley. But I cant wait to get my hardback copy.
Kate, I just finished and I am crying. Seriously, it is so surreal to me that you and Becca and Katie Ann and Davaisha and EVERYONE got to celebrate with me in New York FREAKING City. Your crocheted bookmark has been an absolute anchor for me on this tour. It's like you've been with me the whole way! And I loved the way you described the 'hum' of the energy of those days. I will remember this whole thing for the rest of my life and thank you so much for documenting your trip. I will watch this video over and over again!
As a European, I LOVE and admire the American generosity, kindness and positive mindset. You guys get excited about things and don't hide it, it's sooo uplifting and cool! 🥰🥳✨

I also love that you went to the Ripped Bodice in NY! The LA one is my absolute favorite indie bookstore! I finally got to visit the LA one back in April and sign my book (have a short story in the BEING ACE anthology). It’s the cutest, best bookstore I’ve ever been to! 🥰
OMG I'm dying over this entire video but I just got the part where you went 'aha bye!' when we started a sprint on the stream and I BURST out laughing, Kate!!! That was so funny! I am going to keep watching but I have to first say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING!!! It literally meant the world to me to celebrate with all of my amazing writer friends!!

Aahhhhhh, this was so magical to watch!!! What a whirlwind two days hahaha!! Your pumpkin bookmarks are the best!! My mom came over the other day and saw it and now she wants to learn to crochet lol! (So we're going to do what you and Zara suggested and buy a couple of those kits!!)

And The Ripped Bodice was so awesome. I wish I had more genre-specific bookstores near me, it’s such a cool experience to see all the subgenres getting their own shelves.
