I like the way your pants look on you just a loop in the back will help. Love all your patterns. God bless.

That is quite a pattern haul !! I don't know how you decide which one to make first. I would be so tempted baking all those goodies while on a carnivore diet. Happy Memorial Day.. 🇺🇲

Hello Diana! Really nice summery trousers, I like the way they look. Cute children's dresses! All the new patterns are really nice! You have a lot of sewing projects ahead of you! How nice to be able to make your wardrobe! Have a great Memorial Day weekend and Holiday. See you soon!

I have recently sewed a pair of shorts, with similar size issues. I would suggest pinning out what excess you would like to eliminate and sit in a straight back chair, to get a. Idea of ease. As far as the crotch depth, try adding about 3/4 inch to front and about a 1/2 inch to back.

I would not cut off the pants. Just hem. The next pair you plan to make in the smaller size cut to the length you need and hem. I think they look nice on you.

Hello there, grading your pattern will help you achieve a better fit and I think a 2 inch ease is enough for comfort.

Put a tape measure around your hips and hold it while you sit down on a chair and let it slide thru your hand and expand check it to see what the measurement is then then you will have a better idea what size hips should be and leave a little ease depending on the stretch of your fabric

Can you remove the elastic casing at the waist and add a strip of fabric to run the elastic through. That should solve the length in the rise. Patterns rarely fit out of the package. If you have a pair of pants that you like the fit copy them…. Tons of tutorials on UA-cam

@@TheWanderingSewist I’ve been sewing all of my life and once you get a good basic you can add details to give you a modern look. Pants need to fit through the waist and hips but nobody talks much about the rise….or the contours. Straight or curvy. Flat or rounded. Good luck.🥰
