love those patterns, As far as overalls, this 72 year old woman has been wearing overalls for many years and not just for farm chores. In 1970 I had an especially cute pair of UFO brand overalls and currently I have the Sew House Seven Burnside Bibs on my cutting table. I agree with you about that flounce sleeve on the blouse that has the cute waistline, but how about considering sewing bias tape around the inside edges of the sleeves and then channel 1/2” elastic through them? I think you would get the cutest poofiest sleeves ever ! That blouse may end up as being more of a warm weather or vacation look but in style anyway and nice and poofy and ready for a vacation to any place with palm trees in late winter.
Hi there! I definitely love overalls and plan to make a pair or two for the fall. I was just concerned about the ruffles the most with my bust size, but I’m leaning more towards making them up! I’m sure you look sharp in yours 😃! I’ll take a look at the Burnside Bib pattern too. I currently have five overall patterns from the big 4 in my collection. I never thought about that adjustment for the flounce sleeve! Brilliant!! I’m putting that on the books!!! Thank you for watching!! 😍💕❤️
