Look around railroad tracks for discarded Tie plates. They’re the square steel plates with the spike holes in them. I used one of those to hold the blade from turning. I kept splitting every board I put under there. 😂

I use a 2x4 to wedge in my decks when I change blades too. My preferred method. Made quick work of that task Phil.
