Hi, I want to start gymnastics, and I can do basic stuff like Handstands, Handstand Rolls, Cartwheels, Roundoff, an inconsistent back walkover and some more. A friend of mine is on a gymnastics team and the coach said, that I could come next week and she would see if I was "good enough". (btw it is Not a competitve team) So my question is have you any tipps for me I could learn in one week? (I know that you cant learn much in one week, but maybe just some small Tips?)
I would say just go for it. Like go for any skill that you might be afraid of

@@jenniferbaker1254 so I am Not on the team with my friend, but on another, less advanced team which trains at the same time. I think it does Not make sense if someone who does Cartwheels trains with people who can do back handsprings, so I am happy with it

Hi, I'm not sure if you guys really do gymnastics anymore, but i need some help. I'm trying to do a back handspring and i know I'm flexible enough but how do I know if I'm strong enough? Thanks so much, you guys are awesome.
I’ve had my back handspring for a few years now, and I would say that you definitely need to have a back walkover, and a back limber is super helpful. I really recommend checking out Bethany G on UA-cam because she has some really helpful workouts for gaining strength in gymnastics! My favorite is about an hour long full body workout. I hope this helped.
