Eth community wanted sidechains to be like this. I think they even have research for eigenlayer as their version of minotaur. But this is happening now on Cardano on testnet. Pretty exciting. Current sidechain tech is frowned upon because it is an incomplete idea. A good idea, but it needed more. Now with minotaur and substrate and other shared tech, they can finally be tethered to more established networks while paying them in return for the security.

Wrong. Charles is shwoing you where we are going, notnjust where we are. A large part of cardano and blockchains that can meet unknown future needs, is being two layers. The immutable part which makes consensus and the pther layer which allpws users to vote on upgrades to be implemented via the treasury/governance. If you cant adapt, most will be left behind.

Really? Cardano is cheaper and faster than eth or btc. I can't even afford to use eth or btc because of the fees. Especially when the chain is congested. I sent some ada today and the fee was .18 ada and the transaction went through within 30 seconds. Seems like you're out of touch.
Cardano currently has ~2500 SPOs, and the transaction costs are even cheaper than Solana. Regarding speed, no non eUTxO network will ever be as fast as Cardano ends up being, since any eUTxO transactions that can be run serially can also be run in parallel, since eUTxO transaction only have to process the specific inputs being spent rather than having to wade through an entire account, and since all transactions will always succeed since they are pure functions that always have the same outcome everytime you run them.
How is people still buying this thing when it’s ICP with patents out there stopping every single project to succeed in the future?
