I use their line too. Big fan of their braid. I bought this reel on a whim because I wanted a backup. At that price point I honestly didn’t expect much, but I was really surprised.

I just purchased the 500 to put on a 7' shakespeare micro series light rod and maybe use on a 5' micro series ultra light...for crappie and other panfish

is this good for saltwater??i bought 2000 series for inshore fishing...

I don’t think it’s saltwater rated. I would definitely give it a good rinse with freshwater after you’re done.
