The only thing that we think Cracker Barrel needs to do is just go back to the way they cooked their food back in the 1990s when we think their food was the best. We still enjoy CB today but hope they get back to the basics and make real good comfort food. Thanks as always for watching our videos and sharing your thoughts with us.
Look up a chart of their stock prices. It isn’t the 90s anymore. Not in any way, shape or form. They’ve been hanging on, clawing, kicking and screaming (even though things are great and we are not in a recession)…. The old people are dying off who want antiques . The young people do NOT want old stuff! Don’t want to be around it! They don’t even want high fat country food. So, CB has gone to selling alcohol and doing the minimalistic thing, in an attempt to save itself. It won’t work. They will keep trying though. Besides that… nobody has disposable income anymore! The plastic is running out! Id encourage you to look and see what their stock was… they were the sure thing back then… the good ole days. The facade is fading away - we’ve been in bad economic times far longer than anyone has wanted to let on.
@@cumberlandquiltchic1Very good points. I know for my family we have always enjoyed Cracker Barrel. Our daughter now with her own family remembers when CB was fantastic in the 90s when she was growing up. Now she wants her husband to like and enjoy CB but the CB restaurants in California are just not that good as far as food quality. She likes the way CB looks but wishes they would go back to serving great food like they did. Thanks for watching our video and sharing your knowledge with us.
The trout looked so delicious! I thought the meatloaf needed some type of sauce on it too. Glad that adding the ketchup helped. I always enjoy looking around in the store at Cracker Barrel too. I'll be looking for Steve's shirt in future videos. 😆
@@vafunseekers Veronica thought the trout was delicious. I think I should have asked for gravy to be put on my meatloaf because it was very tasty. Yes I will be wearing the new shirt soon in a video.
