The perfect clarity bit rings so true to me. I’ve managed to get halfway through calculus 3 without perfect clarity, yet when I find myself procrastinating it’s due to the discomfort of non clarity.
Thanks Sam. Procrastination is often not about laziness, but rather about underlying fears such as the fear of getting started, fear of a blank page, fear of failing, or fear of judgment.
@9:33 great quote - I think the flipside of this is folks committed to something that turned out poorly have a harder time committing to the next thing. I've experienced that downside, which taught me the value of saying 'no' if it's not a good fit. there's a balance between that mindset, and being willing to test ideas for a few weeks to see where things lead
There are a tonne of books about procrastination - and most of them will barely move the needle. I recommend two things (unfortunately, both entail doing things!). (1) build a starting ritual that works for you: the first step must be so easy, you can get yourself to do it in any mental state. The worse your procrastination, the more steps the starting ritual will need to contain (2) do an audit of your bad habits, and have a 6 week programme of avoiding them. This is bloody difficult - but it will solve your problem.

Do you believe is there any book which revolves around today's topic of taking action like you've mentioned...
