  • On the day when Copenhagen was preparing for a magical Christmas, we began our journey from the main station. Walking along Vesterbrogade street, the magic of the holiday was already felt in the air.
Having passed by Tivoli Park, where the lights of the attractions sparkled, we headed towards the Town Hall Square. The narrow street Strøget, entwined with garland lights and decorated for Christmas, led us to the Stork Fountain. Crossing Højbro Square, we plunged into the atmosphere of history, heading towards the royal Christiansborg Castle. Further, along Holmens Canal Street, enjoying the views of the waterways, we reached Holbergs Street and the Nygavn Canal. The quarter with bright houses, cozy bars and restaurants invited us to the Kongens Nytorv. Here we enjoyed the architecture while drinking hot mulled wine.
Continuing our journey, we headed along Toldbod Street, along which there were beautiful views of the Amalienborg palace complex. Walking along Fredericks Street, we reached the Fredericks Church, where songs were played, reminding us of the approaching holiday.
Returning along Bred Street to the Kongens Nytorv, we plunged into the atmosphere of evening Copenhagen, where the light of the lanterns was reflected in the colorful facades of the houses. Having finally completed our journey, we returned to the main station, taking with us the memories of a magical day in this wonderful city, on the eve of Christmas.
